Chris, 150 people for a 16th birthday? If this niece ever gets married how many people will she invite to her wedding? Diane Yes it's like a sweet 16 party -- they are hispanic but she had a choice whether to do a Quincenerra (sp? elaborate dance for girls turning I think 15) or a Sweet 16 -- and she chose the Sweet 16 -- I can only imagine the chaos. I'd rather take care of the dogs!!!!! I'm sure the food will be great and the music, but my husband won't dance and we both are trying to cut back on the huge meals. I'm just glad we don't have to go to this. I think I will make it a policy not to go to weddings either from now on. ~Chris~

Chris, I don't like big gatherings of people either (sometimes not even small gatherings of people!) so I totally agree I'd rather be taking care of the dogs.

I got a call for a last minute dog walk so had to go out. Now I'm really tired, and it feels later than 7pm! I'm going to get started on some end-of-day stuff and then see how much energy I have left.

hi there folks.
my keychain with my mother's keys is missing and has to be inside here somewhere. so that's a goal.
I guess i'll work in 3's or little lists.
1)pop cans 2)put away dishes 3)prepare area for photos
I bought a few things and I want to take pictures of them. I am kind of back into a minor shopping compulsion.

Hi all
Good on you for getting straight into your Saturday jobs. It is Sunday here but I didn't do a lot yesterday. Having said that I got some bigger picture things done such as
Reviewed my health insurance cover and changed my arrangements. This will substantially reduce the cost and although I have given up some benefits, I think the trade off I have made is a good fit. This is part of a longer term goal of improving my financial arrangements.
Bought and installed some new bed slats for my youngest son who had some broken ones on his bed. This is part of a longer term goal of keeping up with household repairs.
Installed a new pay tv box that arrived in the mail on Friday to replace a broken one. Now we can watch pay tv and Netflix again. (Household repairs again).
Today I want to get some more everyday tasks done though. . Wash and dry school uniforms for the week and put them away Cook dinner Clear the table clear the bench pack the dishwasher put the rubbish out Prepare uniforms, breakfast things, lunches for tomorrow

Chris, the dog care sounds like fun. One of the dogs I walked today is a black lab mix (mostly black lab, with a little something else thrown in) and he's the sweetest dog ever--he's just pure love. But a little like a bull in a china shop, I have to be careful when I go into his house because he comes barrelling into me because he's happy to see me. I make sure I'm braced against the door so he doesn't knock me down, and I don't bend over, otherwise he slams his head into my face.
Hello haywire, it sounds like you're getting some of those annoying things done that are easy to put off!
While dog walking today I saw something I really liked. A church in the neighborhood has hung a huge banner on the side of their building, that says:
Love Your Neighbor (No Exceptions!)

Hi everyone Chris how fun to spend time w labs Diane I have stated to be more ruthless w emails and I delete them by date if they are not from friends. But if they are from a special interest type group , I have stated to delete if I am behind and they are from last week and unread. I can't keep up and I know they'll be sending me more. I too have purged and unsubscrubed from a lot lately Haywire great progress Puppy box hope you find keys !
Today I found an old dress to donate. I was hemming and hawing between two other dresses and then I remembered this one and knew I was ready to donate. It used to be a fav dress. But I was ready. I would not wear it again (even if it fit which is the exasperating part! Why keep???) anyway I donated it and I am glad As i figure each donation paves the way for the next one! I am glad I am Doing this challenge.
Dropped it off at donation place right away ran two other errands w dd. then we went to mall. Had dinner and shopped for some new dhoes for dd as her feet have a habit if growing!
Now home and tired. Long list of stuff I should do. Will do dishes and litter and I have to fill out a form online
Ready for bed really !!

Well, I'm ready for bed, and have lots I could do, but I'm thinking it might be wise to go to bed early since I have my first busier day tomorrow.
That way I can get in some reading time too.
Good night everyone, keep working! See you tomorrow!

Good night Diane. I like making the donations but it is getting harder for sure. But eager to retire my museum of old work clothes!
I cleaned the litter and did the dishes and filled out my online form and put out fresh water for the cats. That's enough for today !
