Good morning! I don't have time this morning to get very involved in household things--need to get to DMom's earlier than usual to help her with a shower and then get her out to a doctor appointment. However, I did get one important thing done, and plan to dig in deeper tonight... Finally opened Hurricane Spin Scrubber package and set it up to charge. I bought it several weeks ago; the box has been sitting in the living room. Big surprise, huh? I read a lot of reviews before springing for it. Some reviewers seemed to be having trouble with charging, other people love it. Sounds like it depends on whether you get a battery that's a dud. This one seems ok--it was already partially charged before I even plugged it in. So it looks like I'll be spending my Cleaning Up the Mess time tonight working in the bathroom. Have a good day, everyone!

Good luck making things presentable today, flyonceiling! I'm in the middle or kitchen reorganization, so it looks like crap for the moment here, too. We all did a lot of gardening stuff yesterday, and have more to do today. In the kitchen, I'm still plodding away at clearing off the bakers rack so I can move it to live on the porch for gardening supplies. todo in microtasks: - wash last 3 dishes - move garbage can to beside bakers rack to toss things from second shelf - get washcloth and soap it to wash off stuff from third shelf - finish third shelf by tossing anything unnecessary or unsalvageable - sweep, mop and move bakers rack (not necessarily in that order) - start washing walls and window behind where bakers rack was

My horoscope for today: (I am Virgo)
You have taken a step towards a goal, or you are at least pondering the idea of doing so. Then again, you may sometimes think that a step or two won't be very valuable to you when there is such a long way to go to reach success. But every step counts. If it weren't for the first step, there would be no other steps thereafter. Take that first step as soon as you can, and then take another. Don't count them. Don't linger over how many more you will have to take. Just take a step each time you can, and pretty soon, you will be where you want - and need - to be.
Wow - I will never discount the power of baby steps....but I will try to remember to just keep moving!

Hello everyone! wow so much productivity today!!! Awesome!!!! I started a new project today so I'm late getting on here. DONE: * shower * bullet journaling * course Day #1 of 28 - soul coaching with Denise Linn * trash bin in * car out * homework read * stuff set up for livestream * texted friend * lunch here at home Now it's time to call Mom. This afternoon I lead the depression group but sadly, we only have one other person coming. Everyone is gone and we may not have this group much longer. But I expect the other regular and myself today. I hope to tackle the papers on the spare bed. I also need to do my livestream and review once more the work for the 28 day intensive course - I am doing this on my own using the book and materials - I'm taking it serious because I think it could really help me clear some barriers that are keeping me from doing my best work.

Good afternoon, everyone. I've been here in spirit. I was just too busy to take the time to check in until now.
I'm not going back to the old place. At best, they're overpriced for poor quality, but I think they're even shadier than that. I strongly suspect that they took the good rotors off my car and replaced them with junk ones. My car repair was only $200, including a $55 tow, so I'm very pleased. Of course, they didn't repair the brakes, which it probably needs.
Done: Morning routines Picked up car Unloaded dw Breakfast and dinner dishes to dw Get G to class Big lunch with DH Shower Pick up G Homework with G Pick up T Snack for boys Homework with T Bath for T
Next up: Lunch dishes to dw Put away leftovers Handwash dishes
This evening: Get gas Go to in-laws' for dinner Wal-Mart Bath for G Get boys ready for bed Star Trek and wine night

ohblondie I really like that horoscope! I used the Spin Scrubber on the back wall of tiles plus the bathtub. It seems to be working fine. My arm and upper back muscles wore out before the battery could run down! Nice to be able to get some bathroom cleaning done without having to get down on the floor (knee issues). The shower curtain liner and bath mats are in the washer. Tossed a tube of facial scrub I hardly ever use. No matter how careful I am, I always feel like I'm getting grit from it into my eyes. What I'd like to get done before bed tonight: --Get the shower curtain liner dried and hung back up --Declutter/rearrange drawer in the laundry room to accommodate all the Spin Scrubber parts Clean inside toilet bowl Weed out the bathroom magazine bin Ran Affresh table washer cleaning cycle --Restock bathroom supplies I'm going to take a tv break, then back to work.

Good evening everyone--this day is finally over! It feels like I had a million walks today, and wouldn't you know, during what I thought was my last walk I got a call for another last minute one. It's the dog upstairs who sometimes comes here to visit, the people will be gone all evening so I gave her a shorter than usual walk but I have her now visiting with me for a little while to make up for the shorter walk--I just couldn't walk any more. Luckily tomorrow is a much lighter day and I'll be able to rest in the middle part of it. Dusty, I'll be interested to know how you like your scrubber, I almost bought a hand held one once but figured it would turn out to be another gadget I didn't use. Make dinner Eat dinner Clean up from dinner Figure out if I have energy left to do anything else tonight... Diane

Dinner went well. T actually ate without a fight. He says he didn't like the dinner, but I honestly think he says that just to be mean. I don't want to believe it, but I think he actually likes hurting people's feelings.
The boys are not, however, being good about going to bed. They're currently fighting about who-knows-what.
I'm done for the night. Now to enjoy Star Trek. Goodnight, all.

Home after a long day. Went to a forum tonight that discussed mental health and drug use in teens. My biggest takeaway was mental health is not mental illness. And we need to work on positive and healthy mental health.
I came home and got my clean comforter on the bed. I made popcorn and I am trying to get the dogs to calm down so I can go to bed.
I am always impressed with how much gets done in a day when we all work together!

Ohblondie, I hope later when you have time you can elaborate on this!
Next:
Restock drinks in fridge Give everyone fresh water Check locks Scoop litter pans

good day everyone, The weather is a bit cooler, so I put on my outdoor clothes and got to work in the garden. DH & I filled the bin with an old car cover we had been using to cover the outdoor furniture - the job needed gloves and care to avoid any redback spiders hiding in the cover - I am glad that job is done. Then I got to work weeding, sweeping, pruning and I have a large garden waste bag ready to go in next weeks collection. So I feel that I have done a good days work. DH is cooking lunch while I have a computer break. I need to find out how to turn off the voice mail on my mum's answering machine, then I have to talk her through the process.
