I sat here for about 90 minutes trying to figure out what I forgot to do. It occurred to me as I was making dinner that I never updated.
Bathrooms are clean. Dinner was made (breakfast tostadas). Leftovers were put away and pans were set to soak.
Next up: Boys' bedroom Bath for G Get boys ready for bed Check on DN (neighbor)

It occurred to me as I was making dinner that I never updated. I've been hovering over my washer for the last 20 minutes. I went to take the blanket out and it was very wet, like it hadn't finished spin-drying. So I set it to just rinse and spin so I can see what's going on. I hope my washer isn't breaking down now! Here's hopin' it's just a bit glitchy. I didn't do the boys' room because G spent way too much time eating. I could have told him dinner time was over whether he was done or not, but I don't like the thought of that. I did give G a bath and dry his hair. G is currently getting dressed for bed. DN's fever is dropping, so she'll be fine. I gave her ibuprofen. Now, I'm trying to decide between watching a movie and watching Star Trek. I'll see what episodes are coming up next and decide from there.
Update: Child-Pamela's favorite episode is not next, but the following in the queue. I'm so watching Star Trek.

Good work ohblondie, I hope your back gets better before work tomorrow.
Pamela, you know that you now have to tell us your favorite episode!
The rinse/spin worked perfectly, so I don't know what happened before.
Instead of working on my desk and planner I started working on additional information requested about the building from the lending company I was dealing with a few days ago. This is taking a ridiculous amount of time.

Okay, a little rant here. This is why I'm tired of this building work--nothing is ever easy or straightforward. A couple of weeks ago a pest control company came out to give a proposal--one of the residents took the rep around the building. They then emailed us a proposal. Today I called to tell them I have taken over this project and I have questions about the proposal.
The first person I asked for asked for the building address. I told her there are 2 entrances to the building, each entrance has two numbers since each building front takes up what would be two lots. So I told her all the possible addresses. She couldn't find the proposal, so she transferred me to someone else. He looked and looked, asked for the zip code, looked by street name, couldn't find it. I told him the condo association name exactly as it was printed on the proposal, he couldn't find it. He was apologetic and said he would transfer me to the voice mail of customer service, who could surely help me.
So I left a detailed message with all the information I thought would help them find the proposal, and said I'd be home between 1 and 4. I came home, and there was a message on my answering machine left at about 11:00, saying to look for the name of the rep who came out (which I did find on the proposal) and the building address. Which I left on my voice mail. She left a direct line number to call her back on. I figured they would be closed now, but I could leave a message.
The caller ID number that showed up had a totally different company name than the pest control company name. And when I called her direct line number, it gives a third, totally different name. So I didn't leave a message, I'm going to try again tomorrow, and call the original company number and ask for her by name.
This should have been taken care of with a 15 minute phone call this morning, but it goes on and on and on. Do I want to trust this company now? They seemed to be the best one before this happened.
Okay...I'm going to stop thinking about building work now, and finish getting ready for bed.

Good morning and happy Friday!!!! I am at work. Did the usual up and got ready. Made bed. Fed cats and let them out and in. Made lunches. Dropped dd at school Today I have 2 calls to make related to my life not work. Awaiting one call back. Hard to make and get calls here. Especially having time to talk for the call back I am tense about the day and trying not to be. Trying to take long view: when I am in heaven this won't matter ! Big highly visible project heading into bad shape and my leadership chain here totally bails at that point. : ( Leaving us to try and salvage. Ugh Hope everyone has a good day

Happy Friday We're ready for the company -- they said they'd be here "early" so I don't know what that means to them. But we've both had showers and the house is passable. We must get groceries today also since we're out of almost everything. Right now I guess I will get breakfast before they get here. It is a beautiful day here -- yesterday was too -- cool and dry plus sunny starting in the 60s then up to the low 80s -- just right!!!!! Well, I'm off to eat.

Good morning! Big highly visible project heading into bad shape and my leadership chain here totally bails at that point. : ( Leaving us to try and salvage. Magda, that's awful. I hope there are enough good people higher up who will take note of this and reward the people who always have to clean up messes. Chris, I hope you enjoy your visitors today, I'm glad you have mild weather (although it still sounds too warm for me!). I was up early for a morning walk, the owners of the dog I walk three times a week are out of town for over a week, however, some of the walks that I was supposed to do over the weekend were cancelled because a relative of theirs is coming to stay at their house. That's actually good, because otherwise Sunday would have been a really difficult day with walks from morning til night. This is better. I'm now off until 5:30 this afternoon. I think today will be a "taking stock" day. I have lots of things outstanding and I feel like I need to take an inventory and figure out what are priorities. Until our annual condo meeting I'm going to have to operate as if I'm the only board member (because I am, for everything except financial matters) so I don't have much choice--if I don't do anything, I'm hurting myself as well as the building in general. I feel like I'm losing my tenuous grip on the apartment maintenance that I was doing, and we're halfway through the early spring challenge and I haven't done much for that. Scoop litter pans Make bed PEEP and organize computer desk Diane
