Have questions but (for whatever reason) don't need or want an entire thread? Willing to wait and hope that SOMEONE will read this thread and see and answer your questions (even though they are not in a thread title)? Like to help out others? Then maybe you can use this thread. Put your questions in BOLDFACE so that they can easily be seen.
I don't know if this is a good idea for a thread, or if there is something like this already. I don't even know how much _I_ will use it. I realize it is possible that people may just want to scan all thread titles everyday, and not check this thread. But I thought I would give it a try.
QUESTIONS 1) Will this be a useful thread (not just for me)? 2) What does PEEP mean? 3) What is YOUR best solution for unclogging a toilet (without plumber)

#2 is "putting every exactly in it's place"..or similar term--someoen will now exactly
3 bought a ~$14. CLR Power Plumber-air blast...I hate the new low flow toilets... that plug up with anything... and liscenced plumbers are not allowed to install a 70s old style ones back into your bathroom in CA..so many laws.
CLR Power in most hardware stores. it has ~15- air blasts, you just put the rubber collar on the end, push against the drain hole (even with waste in the toilet, as long as there is water added to cover the rubber head) and push the long handle.. it sets off a hard jet of air --no touching the waste water..and it clears with no chemicals.
one cleared, you can fill with clean water, add soap and bleach and let it sit to sanitize for a bit, then rinse off and back into a plastic pail or bag for next need. I LOVE this thing as I have a septic and can't use chorosive or bacteria killing acids
after i bought this fancy new 'quality' grade toilet (paid more for this unit too) friends with 4 girls visited.. in 3 days they plunged it up with so much paper it has never worked the same since!!! now after 13 years the entire inner workings need replaced..dang.

Hiya. PEEP is an acronym that stands for a Place for Everything and Everything in its Place. It just means putting things away where they belong. For a lot of us, though, the first part of that is the bigger challenge -- designating homes for our stuff. PEEPing does make life a lot easier, once you know where a thing should go. It seems a lot of folks like to PEEP at the end of the evening, before bedtime, which makes sense. If you do a search, you'll find a few threads talking about it.

QUESTIONS 1) Will this be a useful thread (not just for me)?Speaking just for myself, I usually only read threads if the subject line is specifically of interest, because I just don't have the time/energy to read many posts. Ten years ago, I read every post every day. Now I read maybe 10% of the posts. I was curious about this thread so I opened it just now; but I probably wouldn't read it very often. However ... We all have different reading, writing, and learning styles. This thread might be just right for some members. There isn't a right or wrong way to post; so if using this thread helps anyone desqualor/unclutter, then use it. Use/read whatever threads you find helpful.

I think it would be a useful thread Starting Again. Everyone has quick question from time to time, even one like "How do you make your own Fruit Fly trap?" I don't know if that is a good example but ...I think we need our own "Squalor Google." For those of us who enjoy a little trivia , Checking here for questions to answer provides a little "Squalor Jeopardy."

Starting Again - I think this is a good idea because I think there are a lot of people who read the threads but don't necessarily want to post. For me, I am fine writing in my own blog or commenting on others'. But, I would feel kinda shy (I'm not sure that's the right word) to post a question directly starting a new thread. So, we can all add a question or answer on this thread. Maybe it will be as def6 said = our squalor google. Good idea! PS: I did not know what PEEP meant ether.
