yes, Ute, as in Utah (a state in the American west). Not the same as Paiute, i don't think. also a tribe.

thanks for the info on blue heelers. i was thinking it had something to do with bumping up and down in the back of the ute. while riding in it. as one would in a pick-up. also illegal, also fun. (entered san francisco for the first time in the back of a pick-up. did you know there are a zillion banks there named Crocker? all i could think of was that betty had branched out from baking...)

I'm in nyc, rather desperate for help, but the space is narrow. I love people of girth, but at this point they won't fit. can't come to someone else, yet.
