woo hoo to the Century Club members!
My plans changed this weekend, so I still have some things waiting to be delivered. AND I had a bit of decluttering magic, but it meant that a lot of things didn't get counted, so I will have to guesstimate.
1/11 total: 185 1/12 total: 0 1/13 total: 34 (listed on previous post) 1/14 total: 23 items accepted for consignment (clothing and accessories) 1/14 total: 35-ish items (clothing and jewelry) not accepted for consignment donated to a fire surviver who lost *everything* (I met her at the consignment shop) 1/14 total: 40-ish hangers 1/15 total: 0
I had intention to donate stuff to fire survivors, but did not know how I was going to find them, so it was so wonderful how this worked out! Apparently there was a reason I lost my keys and missed my initial appointment! (I found them tonight.) She texted me tonight to thank me again and said it was her first sense of normalcy. The work I had done to style the outfits I was consigning with the jewelry really made a difference to her, even though Chris was not taking any jewelry for consignment because none was selling since the fire.
I did my duty and bought as much jewerly as I could (no earrings, though! I have enough!)
hmmm I also lost a lot of hangers in the process... which is a good thing, I need to add those in!
running total = 317 112 x 15 = 1680 1680 - 317 = 1365

Ha! Today is the first day I reached my 112 things target! All items given to the daughters of one of the workers on the property I live on.
100 gel pens 1 black gel pen pad 1 doll (plus all her clothes, but not counting them)
running total = 429 112 x 16 = 1792 1792 - 429 = 1363
I also found out the other worker has an 11 yr old daughter, so I pulled out two more dolls for her, but may not be able to give them to her dad today.

What a beautiful heart you have to donate to the fire victims. I know three people who lost everything in the Santa Rosa fire during the summer. What a blessing you were to her!

10 expired x 3 years cold meds to special garbage, will drop off in the PD's drug drop off box 1 partial bottle of cough syrup to trash, expired x 1 year
23/2018
I remember as a nurse how we used to flush all the meds down the hopper. Things have changed over time. Now, they crush them, mix them with applesauce, and I don't recall the next step...special disposal. Think of all of those drugs in the water supply that had to be filtered out. It gives me the shudders.

oh thank you, saffron! what a small world! All I've had to deal with is being displaced for several months and cleaning up smoke damage, and that was destablizing enough. (thank goodness I had renter's insurance!) we were a blessing to each other.
Today I sent some things over to my folks. I can't remember everything that was in their bag, so I'll have to add to this later.
8ish "magnetic" memory books (to be taken apart next week) 2 parasols 2 tiny pillows made from bird print fabric for the bird-themed room 1 pad of paper in the shape of a black cat to be mailed to my cousins 5 black cat erasers, ditto 1 kitty treat container, ditto 1 wire basket I think I forgot to list previously 55 (?) photos to be mailed to ex #1
running total = 486 112 x 17 = 2002 2002 - 486 = 1516
my math is off, but that is okay because I get an extra couple of days per DSL.

I'm on a roll! Literally, been rolling up and bagging clothing to donate late last night and early dark thirty this morning, as I was working to pack stuff into the wardrobe boxes in my moving van before the rain got here. The clothing isn't donated yet, but it's in my trunk to give to BFF1 on Saturday, so I'm counting it!
50ish items of clothing 2 large bags of plastic bags that are too stinky to use
running total = 538 112 x 18 = 2114 2114 - 538 = 1476

MyLittleScholar, I've been thinking that since about all I do is keep a running total on my blog, I'll do the same here also. That way I'll be more of a community participant.
Latest Recycling, Tossing, Donations
I'll say it again. I don't mind cleaning. In fact, I rather like it. What I find so brain twisting and depressing is all the sorting and making decisions about seemingly endless collections of items. I am sometimes tempted to throw most of it away without even looking at it but I haven't worked up the courage for that quite yet - if ever.
So I will sweat, cuss, talk to myself, take my migraine meds and continue to slog through the chaos.
