Thought I ran dishwasher yesterday - I did not so dishes are still in progress plus I have a huge stack on the counter now to either hand wash or wait for load to be done Still PEEPing - EVERY spot I open to put something away is a HOT SPOT - just shoving it in there right now Make guest bed - strip out master bed and remake it Dishwasher just turned off so going to wait another half hour (after lunch) to unload Bonus: put away mail from yesterday and opened three small packages - two orders and homemade Easter cookies from DM Master bed comforter was particularly disgusting - cat throw up - my favorite comforter too! It is like a magnet for that cat. Vet suggested that we feed them on flat surfaces like edged cookie sheets instead of in bowls. That tends to slow down the bingers. Next: 1) lunch 2) cat fountains (2) 3) switching out cat bowls - convenient because I have the bowls on edged cookie sheets now so they don't move them all over the tile floors and it catches the loose pieces.

I'm moving slowly.
Ta-da: Scooped and swept litter box. Washed up breakfast dishes. Got dressed.
To-do: Purge old stuff from freezer, quickly. Fill vehicle with crapola and get to landfill! Wipe out inside of freezer.
Clean shelves of hutch. Laundry room reorganization... Clean front storm door with Windex...not done in quite a few years..

Hi everyone,
I feel like I am just churning too.
However, I AM on the bus, on my way to the ukulele club.
TO-DOs:
Eat something when I have a chance. (Not allowed on bus.)
Request return/exchange on two items from Amazon.
Wash loose tea leaves out of my water bottle, if I have a chance.
Look at music book to see if songs are suitable.(One song I want only includes the chorus. Same problem with the book I own.
Did I brush my hair? Remember to check.
Shop for binder with zipper to hold all my ukulele club songs, index pages for letters of the alphabet. Clip on Uke tuner? (Phone app does not work well outdoors with 30 other ukulele being tuned or played.)
Set my new alarm clock.
TA-DAs:
Returned 8, borrowed 10 library items. Bought 3 CDs.
Wiped down children's books and added them to pile of books. (Someone else's pile.)
Called library about book donations. They sounded fussy, so I can drop off books elsewhere. (Told son I would dump 20 books, and buy 2. One in, ten out. Those two are currently discounted 40%, which doesn't happen often. And both are new releases, specific to my state, and authoritative. (Extension Service).
Took out my trash and recycling.
Mailed voter registration. Now I can dump the duplicate forms when I come across them. YAY! (Because it was easier to just get another than find what I had.)
Packed up healthy food and ukulele gear. Swapped backpack for a smaller one.

everybody is doing very well today, despite feeling like it's churning. i'm sure we're just underconfident.
i went for dogwalk with friend in neighbourhood rather than driving anywhere. it's a very beautiful day.
before that i grouped more suitcases (i have a collection, it's a bit nuts) and removed most of contents which actually had places to go so thats great.
continuing with that now. maybe i dont need them all.

puppybox My mom had a lot of luggage too and we went through it and used the "vintage" ones as storage for "vintage items" like her wedding shoes, etc. They also are pretty decor if stacked as an end table, nightstand or mini book shelf. As long as you put memorabilia or very rarely used items in them - you can have them stacked for years of use And, for luggage that is more "useful" - putting luggage in luggage is a great space saver. I put all my small carry ons - like oversized purses, etc. into a suitcase. Duffel bags into a suitcase, etc. 1) lunch 2) cat fountains (2) 3) switching out cat bowls - convenient because I have the bowls on edged cookie sheets now so they don't move them all over the tile floors and it catches the loose pieces. All cat bowls upstairs replaced with flat cookie type tins. Hope that cuts down on the throw up. Took me forever because I really HATE cleaning the cat fountains. They have sharp edges. They spill when being carried to the sink. I stepped on the cord when carrying the one in the bedroom and spilled water all over the bedroom floor. They are hard to fill with REO water because they require so much that the faucet is a trickle by the time I'm halfway done. If I ever was organized I would do one on Saturday and one on Sunday. But the cats love them and it is their house - they just let us servants live here. Bonus: emptied and re-loaded the dishwasher. Washed the dishes in the sink. Only thing left is to put away the drying dishes on the counter and do the soup pan from lunch. Next: 1) upstairs cat litter 2) sweep bedroom 3) mop bedroom HOW is there so much work? We actually had cleaners here on Thursday. Most of this is cat care and cleaning up from DH getting ready for his trip. It is all laundry, dishes, and cats. I thought I'd be done by noon - still have another hour to go - too many breaks I guess. I think I have a case of the "don't wannas"

1) upstairs cat litter 2) sweep bedroom 3) mop bedroom BONUS: switched out another load of laundry - Counted it - one just came out, one in washer, one in dryer and FOUR to go. I just did linen laundry last weekend - I thought I finished. It is the linens from three beds plus the cat blankets from the basement and the cleaning cloths from the cleaners. I like to do them last so they can pick up any junk the cat blankets left behind. Waiting for one last check-in from DH before he starts the next leg. Debating on supper. Think I'm done with housework today except for laundry reboots.

i have moved furniture a bit. omg cobwebs, very sticky cobwebs.
wow what a mess. i had better tidy up the mess around the mess if that makes sense! the mess could be tidyier, haha. some of the mess has to be there for now.
i have it inmy mind that i'm having a garage sale. but of course i have no one to sit with me and that makes it impossible.

So many wonderful things going on here WITty ppl I got totally and utterly sidetracked for the last 5 hours. I got sucked into my favorite hobby which is an addiction!!!! Let's see if I can come back from the edge Ta-da: Threw out old freezer stuff. Took 13 bags of trash to the landfill (some from missing trash day, cat litter, and decluttering) plus a small appliance. Picked up some cleaning/fixing stuff for house projects. To-do: Grocery store run. Scoop and sweep litter box. Clean those hutch shelves. Wipe out freezer. After I do these things, I will reward myself with more addictive hobby time (not getting more specific due to privacy concerns on open board).

this process is very emotional. i am experienceing a lot of highs and lows and- you can guess- i do not like the lows. i probably have pms as well.
maybe i should watch a movie, a distracting and uplifting movie. not an inspiring movie, those always depress me!
what are 3 things you do to feel better?
1)i usually watch something about nazis, that makes me feel bad about that so i feel better. sounds funny but apparently its common. it isn't what i could use right now though. 2)i try to find someone who wants to talk to me about something in their life- thinking about something other than my usual thoughts is refreshing. 3)a)i used to go for a walk, but now i have too many aches and pains for that to work b)i try to find something else to think about- a problem that needs a solution, like reading somone's problems on this board and brainstorming for them. writing it out helps. journal writing doesn't seem to help. only writing online. because you are at least sort of talking to other people.
sweetsunshower i think it's fine to spend a lot of time on your addictiv hobby, even if its something dumb. pleasure is pleasure. as long as you're not torturing bunnies or something

I am sorry you are having a tough time puppybox You have been working hard, having a break and distracting yourself sounds like a great idea. Returned home from a 3 day, 2 night camping trip in our van. The weather was fantastic and we got to see lots of beautiful scenery and some autumn colour as well as being in the right place at the right time for a free show when passing an airshow. Unpacked van Started a load of washing Hang washing Shower Dinner Start blog for trip Start another load of washing Plan for tomorrow-got another day off work

Easter blessings to those that celebrate. puppybox There is an IronMan marathon going on right now Not sure how uplifting it is but seeing Robert Downey Jr. always puts a smile on my face! I also read mysteries and play computer games (especially hidden object games) - there is actually a whole series on clutter in hidden object games. My glowy thing addiction is one thing I gave up for Lent - no shows that were "repeats" to me and no gaming - computer or phone. Probably why I have done so much reading. I agree that you do need to find a distraction - it can be very overwhelming and emotional doing what we need to do. It is nice to have sometime completely unrelated to distract or reward you. I'm fighting a bout of bursitis in my shoulder. Slept on it wrong on Friday night and not improving a lot yet. Was hoping to work on hanging things this weekend but very painful to lift my arm above my head. Get cleaned up Load dishwasher Laundry re-boot
