oh goodness, puppybox , has it been that long since I've checked your blog? ! Because I was here at that time under a different name, which escapes me at the moment. I found my old blog, too, and linked it in my blog, somewhere. Anyway, by all means, use my blog, I'd like some reassurance!!! (and please excuse the whining of late.)
Anyway, I've been working on the giant admin catch up list for hours. A lot in Quadrant II, as well, mostly in terms of lists and scheduling and tight planning for everything I want to get done tomorrow. Deadlines loom!!! Sleep will be deprived!
DONE: checked in w/ DXH made brown rice pulled out pork loin to thaw loaded dw and eventually ran pulled out two fridge shelves, washed them, and put them back at more convenient heights for my new inventory called bank and got stuff straightened out got a wild idea for my biz which led to a more interesting idea updated to do list put in in calendar put it in timesheet wrote out a prep for guest list figured out AM taskes put them in timesheet found cards, wrote in them signed put aside for DXH to sign when he got back up, asked him to sign got addresses and put one in my contacts made dinner smoothie and ice cream smoothie for DXH cleaned up again texted to gym buddie checked schedule, changed, changed back texted gym buddy scheduled Action Call texted sponsee
NEXT UP: relax with collage app maybe tea

I'm up early to go for the ultra sound. Not allowed to eat or drink until after the test . * showered & dressed Looking thru messages and bullet journal to try and plan out the next few days. My side/rib area is so sore because in order to take the motrin I really need a full glass of water so I have to wait til after the ultra sound. We can get a breakfast taco after and I'm carrying waters etc.

Good morning everypony!
Hope the snowbound are warm and have power restored soon.
For all the trying to get my ducks in a row last night, I am frustrated because I can't find the envelope I found, and I still can't find the stamps I didn't find. Am now several hours behind (no big surprize there) but the good news is I made extra smoothie last night so didn't have to make breakfast or do dishes this morning.
DONE: breakfast smoothie and picture found Paleo crock pot recipe for the pork tenderloin texted w/ D confirming tonight (not sure how that's gonna go, *sigh*) decided not to wash bedding decided to wash small clothes washed them, hung some up to air dry folded DXH's laundry in the dryer, put mine in msg'd mentee--she had to cancel Sunday, but that gives me time for other ugent things texted gym buddy for possible coffee date tomorrow made bday card and msg'd to DF-F greeted DXH made coffee brought up small bins from garage--found stamps, yay
GET READY TO GO: update grocery list write check address and stamp find check, put in wallet find address, address box put stamps on other envelopes vacuum bathroom, bedroom, greatroom quick clean bathroom shower, hair, shave, face get dressed do makeup take selfie

Good morning oust, ohblondie and scholar.
I went upstairs and watered my neighbor's plants, and I went to the other side of the building to get the condo association mail. This afternoon I will have to pay some bills for the building.
Now it's almost time to get ready for mid-day work. Very sunny again today, but cold.

Hi everyone! Thank you for the well wishes. The good news is that the person doing the ultra sound said at the end, "well I don't see much here ... " I felt that was good ... I hope. She said the radiologist will interpret and send the report to my doctor in a few days. Hopefully it's just strain from coughing - like a recurring injury. We're home now. DONE: * ultra sound * scheduled eye exam * post office * breakfast together * made bed and took trash out of our bedroom DH is outside weedeating. I have to keep an eye on him - he claims that doesn't bother him but I worry with his heart condition. Dear Kitty Marble is waiting for me to sit with her. scholar -- I hope you find the lost items!!!!! I know how aggravating that can be!! oust -- congrats on being caught up and in maintenance!!!!! ohblondie -- way to go on getting so much done with the snow bound time!!! Diane -- keep warm today!! I lived thru being hungry a lot better than being thirsty! That was really rough - but I did it!!! puppybox -- hi I, like you, wrote old blogs. Here lately I've thought of starting up again but just haven't yet.

i'm proud of myself because even though i was tired after my class yesterday and declared it a day off from house thing i eventually gathered the days garbage and picked up all the clothes in the bedroom. I just wanted those things done more than i didn't want to do them.
of course mornings i am the living dead. so i am being bad now. but later i will be good.
littlescholar i'm still not sure what i'm supposed to discuss but i'll go read your blog.
the subject of old blogs is really interesting. i always throw away/hide old notebooks with diary or any type of writing in them from myself, but in typed form it is less cringey. hopefully i can learn something from seeing how i've changed/not changed in 4-8 years.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes...restless night, got power back early this morning, fell asleep again, woke up late. Groggy.
When power goes, we lose everything but water. No innerwebz either, not sure how I'm posting this except Harry Potter magic?
Lots of snow, fallen branches. I'm straightening up here and there indoors. Won't risk cooking today in case of other outages. Every time a breeze blows or a snow falls it seems we lose power.
Chris, hope the results are just muscle strain. Hope everyone else is doing well, too.

puppybox i was referring to your reply to a statistic that Diane found abou 30% of people born after 1980 didn't think living in a Democracy was important.
wb chris! I hate being thirsty. well who doesn't, ! But glad you got through it. Hope you get a break!
I have saved. every. journal. since. I. started. (1968!) It was a big deal for me to toss some daily stuff notebooks before I moved, but I've got enough fascinating data about myself for the Presidential Library already, I think.
Okay I am working on improving my mood. Just took meds (duh). AP hasn't called yet, so I'm... oh, here she is

Hi, everyone. Glad the ultrasound technician didn't seem alarmed, Chris! Glad your power is back, Nonchalant!
I'm toddling along here. I have some laundry started, the d/w is emptied, made my Aldi list for Saturday.
I got our emergency weather radio working again. I let it charge a long time when the storm was coming, but it still wasn't working. Thought I'd have to get a new battery somewhere; it takes a weird one. But I found the manual online, and followed their highly technical instructions for resetting it--poking a paperclip into a hole. It actually worked.
To Dos for later this afternoon --Check my mom's house for storm damage, and make sure landscaper shoveled --Hair cut --Mom bank deposit --Find some kind of temporary adhesive like museum putty to secure the door decoration I bought for my mom's room. Maybe at Lowe's? (That will also give me an excuse to cheer myself up by looking at garden supplies.)
See you later.
