Welcome to the "Whatchamacallit" Thread -- kind of a weekly blog and/or list thread.
Welcome! Feel free to join us here. There are no "rules". Post daily, weekly, or occasionally. Post your to-dos, or your ta-das, or a sentence or two ... or whatever works for you!You can be as chatty or as self-focused as you need to be. Some chattily exchange comments and support, and use this as a "group action blog". They enjoy the camaraderie. Others remain completely and quietly focused on ONLY their own tasks -- and seeming to ignore everyone else. They just need to stay focused on getting things done. Both approaches are fine here! This thread has no expectations that we come back and cheer each other on. This is a week-long thread. We intentionally make each week's thread dated "Sunday through Sunday" so that you can post however/whenever you feel comfortable -- (and you have full permission to optionally post your "Sunday tasks" on more than one thread and claim double credit!) HOW to post: Any way you like! NOTE: Lists not required! This is NOT a "cookie-cutter" thread. Posts can have different styles.🚃 The focus is action -- post however best works for you.All of us are in unique situations. Some work full/part time, some don't work outside the home, some work from home, some take care of other people, some are students, some have lots of kids, some are living alone and have themselves to take care of, some folks are depressed, have ADD/ADHD --- whatever the situation is. We all want to declutter/desqualor and/or maintain. Just do what might work for you.
Some of us just know that we do better listing Ta-das, and seeing our Ta-das at the end of the day or week. Even if in baby steps... this shows us that we did do something and/or are working on it. Sometimes it can be surprising to see all you did in one day. Or sometimes, you may end your day but be able to say: "I may not have gotten much done today but I did do this ____."
Motivation Follows Action!
This thread can go hand-in-hand with other threads such as the WITs (Working in Threes) thread or the "Ten-Minute-Sessions" thread, etc. -- for those who may want to track their weekly accomplishments.
Remember: Amnesty! It is not even required to come back and cheer each other on.
No requirements at all !!!

Sorry I'm a day late starting this thread. I've been out of town for a few days. I would like some feedback as to whether I should continue this thread. It's not getting a lot of use, but if it's helping anyone, I will certainly continue it.
Today's plan is to go to the pharmacy between rain showers. We're supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon, so this morning might be better.
I also want to continue working on my living room and maybe try to empty a couple of boxes that are in my bedroom. Going to see what time the apartment office opens. I have a timer on my stove that keeps going off. It needs to be disconnected.
Let's make this a great week!

Today: Weighed in: 158.4 lbs -- lost a pound. Yay!
Major to do: Pay & mail caregiver's checks, if Mom didn't receive in today's mail... and if so, still need to send one more check.
Other todos: (Won't get started until about 3pm) Drink at least 4 glasses of water Take all meds: thyroid med allergy spray allergy med calcium pill bp med 2nd calcium pill Vit D pill Diet Successfully Wash 2 sinkfuls of dishes, pots, etc. Washed 1 sinkful Put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard Unload dishwasher gave pain med to Puppy Made caregiver arrangement for parent's for special occasion Fold/hang load of laundry Put that load away Put Load #1 in washer Move Load #1 to dryer & hang the hang-dry things (if any) Fold/hang load #1 Put away Load #1 Put Load #2 in washer Move Load #2 to dryer & hang the hang-dry things (if any) Fold/hang Load #2 Put away Load #2 Look over bills/paperwork for re: parents Clear ottoman in den Clear TV table #1 in den Clear TV table #2 in den Work on Dining Room Table Wash top of stove Wash kitchen sink counter under light switch Wash kitchen sink counter left of sink Wash kitchen sink counter right of sink Wash kitchen sink counter around microwave Wash long kitchen sink counter under breakfast bar (just wash around whatever is there) Change linens on my bed Begin Crises clean.

i love this thread and wish i weren't so adhd and resistant or i'd join ya! my "long list" consists of about 3 things at a time. WTG on losing another pound, cando - and all that you got done yesterday! uh-oh; crisis clean? who's coming over? hi Serendipity! nice to see you! seashell, i love reading your intro to this thread and all the pretty colors you use every week! - please keep it going. things ebb and flow. i glaze over at the sight of a long list for myself - but i will try to think of how i can contribute weekly or at least be an occasional cheerleader, even though it's not required! i did finally accomplish ONE major thing last week; i FINALLY got the MRI i've been trying to get for two months. DONE on Friday! Today is a new day, a new week. i will list tadas no matter how small. i am so demoralized that may help. i'll be crisis cleaning along with you, cando. inspection is sometime in april - i have 3 wks to 1 month and i will need every day of it to get this place under control. gardening has started up so i am a busy and tired gal. love to you all, cc

As far as crisis cleaning... Yep, i have company arriving on March 29th. 3 peoples. DD, her husband and one of DD's friends. They will be in town for over a week and not sure if they are staying with us on the 29th or not, but they will definitely be staying here April 1st for a few days.
We have soo much to do. Yesterday, nothing got done. Today a very late start and will be seeing a movie, later, with DH. He's been wanting to see the Thor movie for a long time and I agreed to go with him a few weeks, ago. Today is the day for that.

Fed dogs 1st feeding 1st round meds to dogs I guess mail 2 more paychecks for caregivers. My DMom did not receive the ones that I sent last Monday. I'm a little worried, but am hoping they get them tomorrow. It should only take 2-3 days to Memphis from here. My DMom had to pay 1 caregiver on Friday and she'll have to pay the other one, today. But, I need her to get paychecks for next week. Dates are now all screwed up on the paychecks... wrote paychecks, wrote note/letter & got it ready to mail. Mail the paychecks. Call in RX refill Drink at least 4 glasses of water Take all meds: thyroid med allergy spray allergy med calcium pill bp med 2nd calcium pill Vit D pill Fed dogs 2nd feeding Gave dogs 2nd round of meds Visited Aunt in Assisted Living -- She's only been there a month & not doing too well.
