So last night a trip to Verdon to replace a charger wiped out my night.
CHarger was a week old, worked the one or two times I used it. Went to use it yesterday and it said charger not compatible with this device.
Went to verizon and they said I needed a fast charger. I pointed out my charger was a rapid charger. I asked if there was a difference between rapid and fast and she said yes but could not tell me what the difference was except that one I needed was $5 more...
I opted to just replace the one I had with the same one. I asked if it would work with my phone and would I have the same problem. She said that she did not know until I tried it.
She rang me out, not a single thank you, have a nice night, nothing.
Ugh, I really want to change plans....

So I was late to my aunts concert but what I heard was lovely. I ran into an old friend and spent time with my parents.
And my charger worked and my phone was 100% this am

puppybox -- you made so much sense in your post about the cat & thinking errors ... I laughed at the absurdity of my original thinking process.....!!!!! Diane -- I hope your library trip is fun!!!!!! ohblondie -- I'm glad you now have a good charger for your phone!!!! scholar -- I often get lost on facebook or instagram -- I had been taking a break from both when suddenly I had a private message on instagram that I'd won a giveaway -- good thing I did see that -- I won a Rhodia Goal Book. Still ... I need to cut down on the mindless scrolling!!!! magda -- thank you for the wise and kind words re: cats rescuing us humans. DONE: * breakfast * sat with outside kitty & fed him * wrote a letter * sorted thru my desk items and organized some of my pen desk * research done * set up a shelter in the utility room for outside kitty UPDATE on the Tony lookalike who now has a name: Willy (after my great-grandfather who was very wise and also a photographer/creative like me with a soft heart): It seems that Willy and I both have some thinking to do. Last night he eagerly came in with me into the kitchen then turned around with a terrible panicky look on his face and wanted out immediately. We have been sitting together every morning and every evening since Monday and he eats then I put away the extra kitten food. I believe he is about 9 months old. None of the other cats that he was with have come around yesterday or today. I am still proceeding with extreme caution - and I brushed up on the information I need to remember about tests for feline leukemia & the necessary things like neutering and .... thinking over my broken heart and the fact that I've always received my new cats this way -- they always choose me -- and in the past (when Tony came along and before that Meena and Marble) ... I never hesitated. Now I am being so protective of my heart but there's nothing that can soften the loss of Tony and then Meena ... it shades my soul dark about what can happen. And yet, I have been remembering the way Tony came in the beginning and how he did the same things this one is doing - greeting me every morning and making himself happy in the back yard. I do believe if there's any way possible to acclimate him to the indoors I will be adopting him. He has a bed now in the utility room. Ooops my timer went off my art lesson is beginning online now. More later. thank you for the loving encouragement about this everyone.

I just spent over half an hour on the phone with my senior client trying to help her respond to a baby shower RSVP and choose a gift from the registry. And we're still not done, the gift is reserved but not purchased--which I'll have to do for her online, since we're still not sure the update on her computer went through. I tried it again today but it wasn't done by the time I had to leave, and by the time she looked at the computer again and called me, she said it had shut down. I've never used a laptop so I don't know what happens if you leave it for a long time. Okay, now I'll finish my last list. Diane
