Ha ha! Good morning ohblondie! Thanks for starting the thread.
I woke up with a terrible headache this morning so went back to bed to do relaxation exercises, which sometimes helps--and it did, but then I fell back asleep. I think it was tension, from having a bad dream about my friend's animals. I stopped by here a little while ago to read but didn't post.
Now I have to leave for mid-day work in a little while.

Diane, glad your headache is gone.
Well, NorEaster #4 is apparently on its way. It's coming in two parts, on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are predicting 4 - 8 inches around here, for the two days combined. Sigh. I think I may run down to the A.L.F. today to get some stuff down to my mom before it hits. We have a lunch date scheduled with her friend for Thursday, which was a postponement from one of the previous snowstorms. I hope it doesn't have to get changed again.
So far, I got out to exercise class, made salads ahead of time for dinner, boiled eggs for the week, made two phone calls on mom-business, and I have two loads of laundry going. After lunch, DH and I are going to get a walk in, since we probably won't want to for the next couple of days.
To Do --A.L.F. visit --Make pudding
Not sure what else...

Hey dusty daughter.....our weatherman are on the fence about this storm. If I remember correctly, you are more in alignment with the trajectory of the storm. I am on the cusp and we could go either way, depending how the wind blows. Literally!!!!
I have food so I am not worried about that. I welcome a snow day, and getting some stuff done!!
I have had a dull headache for a few weeks and now my left eye lid is twitching. Hmm, I think I need a vacation.
Leftover corned beef and fixing's for dinner. Means more time for other stuff.

Hello ohblondie My eye started twitching due to the bright sun without sunglasses. I'm talking long term here. My eye isn't twitching anymore thankfully but try to always wear sunglasses when you are out. Especially if you have light eyes. Going to rest a bit and then get back to it.

Def6 I always try to wear sunglasses. ..my eyes are light blue and so sensitive.
I think this is tired or stress related.
I am getting thru my work. About to meet with someone who I don't think likes me so much. Oh well, we just have to work together, not be best friends.

I'm still moving along. Slowly because of my side pain (ribs on right side!). We are excited - we are getting a fence along the back of our property built they are starting this afternoon by putting in the poles and cement. It will be a very needed privacy fence to shield us from the rental property behind us. It's empty right now but it's a real mess back there and the last renters openly did drugs on the back patio and I was afraid to go out there. Just too close ... only about 40 feet from my back porch & my bird feeder is back there. I don't care what people do but I don't want to see it and I don't care for them to be able to see us. Was very happy the estimate was within our reach!!! $$$ DONE: * got card for son's birthday * laundry done * started a new crochet project (attempt to rest a bit more) * cooked lunch * helped DH out back * watched a video from Lulu Bea's & drawing (someone else won!) * took out all trash * cleaned the trash can (kitchen one) They are buying the poles and cement right now & should be bringing the stuff soon. Our fence will match and connect with the neighbor (friendly one to the left of us)! Looks like it will be done in plenty of time for Easter too.

Good afternoon!
I can't believe yet another storm is coming to you guys on the east coast--I hope it's milder than expected.
Chris, congrats on getting a new fence, it's not good to be uncomfortable in your own back yard.
I took care of my senior client's dog and cats, and then sat for TWO HOURS with her at her computer, trying to show her how to do stuff. We were both exhausted afterwards. I don't know if she'll ever get the hang of things, she's just not remembering anything I'm telling her. We went to the library website and ordered "Windows 10 for dummies, for seniors". At one point she said "let's order that book for senior dummies"... I do feel for her, it was hard enough for me to learn the little I know about computers at the age I was at when they first became available--I must have been around 30. She's in her 80s, and has never used one. So I told her it would become easier if she practiced, to not get discouraged.
It's funny, I'm really impatient with her about the animals, and I'm moderately impatient about her refusing to clean and declutter. But I was totally patient with her at the computer--I surprised myself.
The dream I had last night was that my friend's animals (in real life she has 2 dogs and is out of town, so the dogs are with a brand new dog-sitter) were not being taken care of by the new sitter, so I had to go bring them to my house for the rest of her trip. In the dream she had 3 cats as well as 2 dogs, and I was trying to figure out how to take care of all them, especially since the cats were sick because the sitter had put them in the same room with several sick cats. And one of the dogs was having trouble walking because the sitter had made her pull a heavy cart! Crazy. I woke up feeling very stressed out, with the headache. I will be talking to my friend before she comes home from her trip, I have to be sure not to mention that dream to her while she's still away!
I'm eating lunch and then will need to get a lot of work done--with all the spare time I have lately I'm just not being productive enough.
TO DO:
Finish lunch Clean up from lunch Cat feeding Wash cat food dishes

What an intense dream, Diane. No wonder you woke up with a headache!
I feel for your sr client. I remember how it was.
A few weeks ago, I helped an elderly lady for a while on a computer at the library. She had a hard time even handling the mouse. I told her not to worry - with practice she would naturally improve.
Still in a slump. Ate breakfast at home. Watched tv. Took out a small bag of trash. Watched more tv. 😕

i moved the couch and swept underneath. there were bugs and i killed most but up to 3 got away so that's bad.
at least it's not bed bugs right? that's the worst kind of bug.
going to cbt meeting later, so managing to do anything inbetween work and that is good for me. however, i jsut realised i havent walked baddog yet. will go in 5 min
di your dream was so interesting and like something i'd have

That was nice of you sue!
Puppybox, good for you for sweeping under the couch--do you think there are bugs living on the underside? When you use diatomaceous earth you're supposed to put it in a little bulb sprayer so you use only a very thin layer--is it the same for boric acid? Because if so, you could spray the underside of the couch with a fine spray. Assuming the couch is low enough so that your dogs can't get under it.
Next:
Wash more cat food dishes Wash human dishes PEEP entryway Look at Chewy site for different canned cat food

Diane -- have you tried having your senior client write down in a small notebook some cheat notes? I had to encourage people I was helping to do that. Even I don't remember how to do things if I don't do them everyday on the computer. Windows 8 is horrible (to me) I went to a local Dr Nerd shop and got windows 7 - my laptop has windows 8 and I HATE it. I can use it but just don't like it. One friend I had to just type up a sheet for her on how to attach photos I think it was ... it was so much easier than trying to explain it. I do best on paper!!!! The work has begun now on the fence -- they are digging the post holes and have 8 big 4x4s out there ready to put in the ground plus cement -- I see some sort of orange line put up to keep it straight I guess. Cool. WOW - our Easter may be very nice back there if we can barbecue and feel even a little bit private it will be great. * washed dishes * placed table cloth (plastic) over my dining table so I can paint more & not worry about spills * talked with mom Now I am debating what time to have dinner. I think they will be working til there is barely daylight. I just need to cook up some chicken and stir fry the veggies to go in with it. It will be very quick.

Hurray for your new fence, Chris !! That's going to be so nice to have that added privacy back there! ☺ When I still had my desktop computer in 2016, I was still using windows XP. 😕 I don't like change. Can you tell?

my father can't remember how to turn on and open the word processing program. so he has written instrcutions he jsut follows every time. 6 years on one computer and he still needs them. it's fine.
diane im not really doing bug extermination yet. except if i see bugs i squash them. first, more decluttering needs to be done. but that is a good idea. never thought of it. i might jsut throw away couch when it's spring too.
i walked baddog. feeding dogs now. feeding self now.
must text cbt meeting friend soon
