I just clicked on a "3 others" link to see who else liked one of my posts besides the two username links shown, but nothing happened. I tested it on other posts, both mine and other people, with different numbers of other people who liked a post (2, 5, etc, not only 3), but it still does nothing.
The username links work, taking me to their individual profiles.
I am using an LG (android) mobile phone, and pre-installed Google Chrome browser app (automatically updated) to access this site.
I experience other issues with not seeing photos and emojis (not related to photobucket being unavailable to us) that other people say they can see on their laptop and desktop. I don't know if some/all other portable devices have the same issue as me. I wonder if there would be a way to poll members to identify on which devices/systems this glitch is happening, to discover if there is a fix for it?
Thanks for any help!

Irishey, i just tried that and it worked for me. Im on ipad/safari. I did have a problem earlier using smilies but i thought it was because i posted, then went back and edited the smilies. Thought i messes up the bbc code. Is it just on the forum? Ive found the internet to be glitchy alot lately.

I've tested "and "# others" like this" links on several posts in this forum. Broken, for me. I don't know about other sites. When I hold my finger down on the link, then select "copy link address", this is what is copied: javascript:void(0); As far as smilies, I probably need to reference posts to use as examples of what I see/do not see. I wish I could add a couple screenshots, but I can't from this platform. It might make a difference if I installed a different browser on my phone.

Thought i messes up the bbc code. the smilies bbcode problem is a different issue. We have a separate thread about that here: And it's not just the smilies in the dropdown box, you can see my replies on that thread.

The "others liked" link still doesn't work for me on mobile. Is there a fix in the works? Greg? CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity - There is no emoji drop-down list on the mobile app. Is there a connection to the "others liked" link?

CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity - There is no emoji drop-down list on the mobile app. Is there a connection to the "others liked" link? Greg works only with the chatroom application. He has nothing to do with forum posts. I don't have any idea how mobile posts work, I don't have smartphone. I do everything from an old-fashioned desktop computer.

Thanks for the info, CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity. I appreciate your response. I remembered Greg had helped me with an issue a couple/few years ago, but forgot it was about chat and he was chat help only. So, to whomever monitors technical questions, is it pointless for me to post this as a technical question? I've received no answer because there is no answer?

It helps to tag the moderators who have some experience with forum technical stuff, otherwise they might not notice the post.

I lost my like option when I update my computer--once I signed in as a member the like option reappeared. Hope this helps

This is totally out of my area, Celeste is great at handling the tech stuff.
Using my LG phone, i also get nothing when i click on the "others" that like a post, but i do see emojis. When i try it on my iPad, it brings up a box with the list of those who have liked that post. How this would be fixed, i have no clue, but i can try to get onto support for ProBoards and find out. It might take me a while to track it down, but i have noticed that some platforms and devices don't do certain things no matter what you try.

CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity - Thanks for the tags. I completely forgot about doing that. sillycanuck - Luckily, I haven't lost my ability to "like" other people's posts. The link that shows me who "like" my posts (or anybody's post) is broken. Often, I like something instead of respond so people know I read their posts and like/agree/empathize or simply am acknowledging what they wrote. messymimi - Thanks for your input. I use an LG phone (LG5), too, for reading/posting, but I use Proboards' mobile app (I think it is Tap-A-Talk), which is what it defaults to when I choose mobile version instead of desktop version on my phone. I don't use desktop version because it is unwieldy on my phone. The link used to work, so it was broken by a fix for, addition to or replacement of something else. I don't *need* this feature - it's just nice to have it, plus I thought I should report it.
