It keeps prompting me to search my group. I put in Stepping out of squalor and it tries to link me to a tool group or something. Def not here.......

If you have tapatalk installed, can you switch back to Safari/Chrome and open proboards from there? Is there a then link at the top to open the forum in tapatalk? If so, what happens when you tap that?
(I just tried this, and it seemed the easiest way to get in. I had to log in again within the tapatalk app to see the members-only boards, but that was fairly simple and used my existing angelinahedgehog login.)

Def not here....... ohblondie , I think I know what the reference to "groups" means. there are many messageboards/forums/groups that are hosted on tapatalk forums. So they think you belong to one of those and want you to enter the name of it.
But Stepping Out of Squalor is hosted at Proboards which is a completely separate company.
You need the part of the tapatalk app that allows your phone to participate on all forums regardless of host.

OK - on my old phone, my Samsung phone - when I opened SOOS on Proboards - I was able to see the Tapatalk at the top of the "page". When I open this up on my new phone (pixel 3) I am unable to see the Tapatalk link.
I believe I was using google chrome both times to search and log into SOOS.
I will keep trying.....

"Years ago we contracted with Tapatalk to make a mobile app for us. We've since discontinued that app as it closely mirrored the same experience of just viewing our forums in a mobile browser and we knew project Phoenix (v6) was in the works, which would render the need for a separate app unnecessary. In the meantime, however, we kept our Tapatalk agreement for our forums to be "viewed" via the generic Tapatalk app for those that still like the idea of using an app."
So it sounds like you can just access S.O.S by phone without using the app, and simply using a regular internet browser window on your phone.
Using the tapatalk app is now optional. |

thanks for your help CLSS.....You are such a great researcher!
I do access SOS using my phone by opening Google and outing in SOS - I thought I needed tapatalk to upload pictures when accessing SOS from my phone.
No big deal - I have a small tablet that I think I can use to upload pics....Why am I so technically challenged!
