I went back to double check my numbers. My totals grew by leaps and bounds when I started deleting digital clutter. Hmmm 🤔

Everyone did so well! saffron, WTG!! You are a clutter-removing machine! I did get a couple of posts in this thread early on, and my total was 359. I am adding 700 items to that, no, make that 701 to bring me up to a round 1060 as of the end of 2019. I can't itemize, but I know at least 60 items of clothes went, 50-70 items from my toolshed cleanout that were recyclables went, two large garbage bags of trash from same went, as did the equivalent of a full vanload of donations, with boxes containing numerous items inside. I also did get rid of 20 books (always hard to do) and a box of surplus pet supplies (leashes, collars, food dishes). Lots of other stuff just from the house over the months, a few knick knacks given as gifts, a couple of small rugs thrown out, etc. etc. I had one lucrative moment arise from my stash of donations waiting to leave. One of the pagan festivals this year was offering $50 off the registration if a vendor brought items totalling an estimated $50 (or more) that could be made from them at a silent auction. Right to hand, I had a nice table lamp, a cute little chicken knick-knack, a saki tea-set, and a new water bottle in insulated bag awaiting the next run to the thrift store. I brought those along and saved $50! And the items went for more! The 701 is a guesstimate, but it's low-ball, guaranteed. So, I am finishing 2019 with 1060 out -- BUT -- I am continuing with that number in 2020, and I actually think I am still trying to accumulate 2018 from that year too. So I am thousands of items behind , but I am DETERMINED to match up with one year sooner or later! So will now head over to the new 2020 items out thread and begin with 1060. Happy New Year to everyone decluttering! Let's use our 2020 vision (and our vision of 2020) to spy out those unnecessary, unwanted space hoggers and get them gone!
