Pyrex That would be hard for me too! It seems like when I need it - I need A LOT of it. Especially if it is fun colors. 1) Get cleaned up 2) Laundry shift - sigh - the struggle is real 3) PEEP the shoes - I think there are 12 pairs sitting in various spots I'm drying the last load of regular clothes - DH's light dress shirts are in the wash now - one load of dark dress shirts and ALL the clothes are officially done. Only found 11 pairs but that is because two pairs are actually in use - on our feet. Bonus: ate lunch, loaded dishwasher and started it, put away air dried pots/pans and washed another load. Last load is in the sink. Put away two loads of clothes. Folded a third. Next: 1) Unpack all the packages on the kitchen island. 2) Another laundry shift 3) Strip and re-make the bed if Her Royal Naughtiness ever wakes up. Bonus: I think I spy with my little eye - cat throw up.

*i forgot to put shoes away. *walked the dogs, fed. *got a free hotdog and drink from some church's free hotdog day in a park. they didn't even try to *convert me so it was genuinely a good deed. *ate dinner *i'm up to 19 items chosen to remove today. (North american remove, not british remove which means move house.) my minimum goal is 31. *i did take some articles out today. but stuff is piling up. *arranged mugs on new shelf. *did NOT lug back a used bookcase from some apartment moving out pile. i may still do it later .

Suddenly I realized I have not posted since...Wednesday evening? Sheesh. I think the heat is muddling my brain. Great job to all with the tasks being tackled so far in August!
Ta-da: Um... -started hand washing work clothes
To-do: -Grocery store - more laundry - This is imperative: Clean dirty and clean dishes and pots n pans off stove top. So I can use it! I am trying to eat better but not possible if I can not use stove. - scoop and clean up papers around litter box, ugh - Cut up watermelon. Sadly I had another one and it fermented and split open. Lovely.

finished my 31 object goal. some were significant and others were small bits of junk. but i feel i was fair. i like accomplishing goals, i RARELY finish ANYTHING. i usually have a neurosis against it or something. i did not take a shower and wash hair i did not do laundry i did not go to grocery shop which were all basically necessary to be a civilised person. but so is decluttering. but it took all day. now i can relax and watch Derry Girls on netflix. sweetsunshower glad you're back. heat absolutely addles the brain. sorry about your watermelon.

Good afternoon, guys and dolls. I just got back from a morning appointment in the nearby city and the subsequent run-around trying to get other appointments and materials in line. But hurray! I'm home again. Most of the following accomplishments are from yesterday when I was off-line.
TA-DAH 1. Began putting "keeper" books NEATLY on the shelves 2. Laundry put away 3. Cleaned kitchen up after making seven beef & broccoli over brown rice lunches (feeding the freezer) 4. Returned library books; made a "home" for borrowed books on a particular spot in the livingroom 5. Loaded dishwasher with things that need a scalding wash, washed, & started 6. Another load of laundry, plus more hang-dry 7. Stripped bedding, washed, dried, and remade bed - borax is gone now...
Reassembling the sound system turned into a dive into the rabbit hole.
8. Moved sofa to change plugs, wiped floor... 9. Then discovered splashes of salsa on wall!! & cleaned off, but moved endtable... 10. And discovered pile of dried out beans, bugs, and a spider, so I cleaned out extinct ecosystem. 11. Swept & washed entire floor after moving all furniture- haha! 12. Dusted furniture & moved back 13. Appointments & errands 14. Put away or shredded incoming items 15. Put more items in recycling
TO DO 1. Put out new rug pad & put back rug 2. Pack some things in a suitcase 3. Check mailbox
