razy Woo Hoo - Fresh eggs!! sweetsunshower why can't assigned reading ever be something like Evanovich or Agatha Christie? oxen Way to go on powering through bins - even if you have no set schedule to complete - you are pushing through. doodles Lots of cleaning tasks on there - WOW DH and I ran a couple errands - picked up some things I need for this party tomorrow. Made a bunch of food tonight but have a few things more to do in the morning. It is going to be a bit of a challenge fitting everyone in - 6 more people accepted today! Waiting for some food to cool so I can go to bed. Oh and did a few loads of laundry. Good night! PC phoenixcat, your encouragement for several of us here was thoughtful and nicely specific. It sounds like you too did some great powering through! Especially because even one load of laundry can be a pretty big task. And I say that with laundry actually being one of my favorite chores. You did a few loads! Note how many of us tackled laundry today, too. Haha... Hands all in, "goooo US!"

TA-DA - Start sorting through blue bin as slowly as needed. Try not to get overwhelmed. **I STARTED!** ✅ Make a back-up plan for items from blue bin that might not have a very good place *elsewhere*. But keep going! **I KNOW WHERE EVERYTHING, SO FAR, SHOULD GO NOW.** ✅ ✅I threw out things I plausibly could let myself get sentimental about, but I told myself NOPE. I tossed things I don't need and truly will not miss. Things I have been lugging from place to place for many years (mostly papers/ documents I've either worried I "needed", felt overly sentimental about, or just felt too overwhelmed to sort through until now). Progress for sure. TO DO! - Keep working through the blue bin. Continue to be thoughtful and take good care of myself as I work/ sort. Once I'm done/ nearly done clearing out the bin, put the stuff from the sorted piles where that all needs to go next. Use bin, once emptied, for my many awesome sheets sets finally! 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 P.S. I do recycle my papers! I will be shredding any personal documents through a service in my building. "Tossed" means I recycled something, could not recycle something, or passed an item along to someone else/ donated it.

TA DA! 💮💮 Keep working through the blue bin. Continue to be thoughtful and take good care of myself as I work/ sort. 🌹 Once I'm done/ nearly done clearing out the bin, put the stuff from the sorted piles where that all needs to go next. 🌹 (I am still sorting a few more things to go into the specific paper piles, so will put EVERYTHING away after I've gotten to the bottom of the black bag- my LAST location of *mystery items* to finally sort through, for now.) Use bin, once emptied, for my many awesome sheets sets finally! 🌹 I wish the bin fit more sheets sets into it (I have many) but I did complete this task as written. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 TO DO! 💮💮 Start slowly sorting through the black bag. This one might be particularly overwhelming- it may be tricky to know where stuff ought to go next. Come up with good secondary locations for things if it all just won't fit into the best place. This would be less than ideal, but I am doing my best! Finish up black bag, do a mini celebration dance. Or even a full-out celebration dance! 🌻For right now: rest, H2O, browse forum and 'net.

TA DA! 💜 It turns out the paper piles in need of further sorting really needed a LOT of sorting. But I definitely did "threes" (and then some!) so would like to post here for the encouragement and to keep myself motivated. This is a big job: *I sorted all of my hospital records from the bin and some that were in the file box. A lot of things were totally out of order plus I've been to the hospital a lot. :/ *I sorted a whole lot of college papers I still need, some I just *want*, BUT- *I managed to get myself to toss some schoolwork that I'd held onto for YEARS! And it didn't hurt too bad at all! I *did* keep the essay upon which one of my professors had written at the top "KEEP THIS!" Well you don't have to tell ME twice. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 TO DO! 💮💮 Start slowly sorting through the black bag. This one might be particularly overwhelming- it may be tricky to know where stuff ought to go next. *Breathe as I go. There is no rush.* Come up with good secondary locations for things if it all just won't fit into the best place. This would be less than ideal, but I am doing my best! *Breathe as I go. I already tackled a little of this "three" task.* Finish up black bag, do a mini celebration dance. Or even a full-out celebration dance! 💙BREAK TIME.💙

razy bliss balls? oxen You are up early and pumping things out - woo hoo on getting to the black bin. I'd suggest a bin thread - I only have about a 100 counting the ones that my DM has stored here. BUT you will probably be long done before I even start to circle the wagons. Party Day have some relatives coming and they are chaotic at best, a tornado normally and a 5 class hurricane at worst. HOPING like heck they hold off for quite a few hours. 1) get dressed 2) get a pan of brownies in the oven 3) start next dessert Probably a laundry switch in there somewhere

1) get dressed 2) get a pan of brownies in the oven 3) start next dessert Bonus: finished second dessert. Put in two pans of brownies - I was hoping for instructions to combine on the box but no luck. Made an appetizer. I had mixed it last night - just finished it. Cooling and waiting to go in the fridge. Outside of figuring out some drinks and maybe cutting some fruit - I'm done with food prep for this thing. Next: 1) shower - didn't want to wash hair BEFORE cooking with oil! 2) figure out what I still need regarding plates, etc and start pulling out dishes 3) unpack box and start assembling chafing dishes

TA DA!
**I finished sorting the many piles of papers from the blue bin- I know where to put the important papers that are now all together, AND I WAS ABLE TO TOSS (RECYCLE) A TON. Yay!
**I started sorting through the black bag. There were fewer papers in there than I was expecting, so -so far- the task has been less daunting than anticipated.
** I am indeed coming up with good secondary locations for things if it all just won't fit into the best place. What is helping me a lot is not expecting myself to sort it all perfectly the first time. I'm making general sort piles, then going from there and sorting further before it's (usually) obvious where the "home" for each item is.
♥️🧡💛💚💙💜
TO DO!
**Keep sorting through the black bag. Prepare myself emotionally for confusion over what is in there all together and where it should all go- just keep breathing calmly, listening to music and thinking things through. Again, I have no deadline here.
**Put things in their new/ better/ permanent "homes". Work slowly as needed, try to keep it low pressure. It's better to take an early break than to blend a bunch of items that don't go together just to be able to get away from this task. BREATHE.
AS FOR NOW: meds, eat a snack, self-care to relax and prepare for more work a bit later.

TA DA!!!!! **Keep sorting through the black bag. Prepare myself emotionally for confusion over what is in there all together and where it should all go- just keep breathing calmly, listening to music and thinking things through. Again, I have no deadline here. ⭐I braced myself and reminded myself that there is no deadline... Keep reading on. **Put things in their new/ better/ permanent "homes". Work slowly as needed, try to keep it low pressure. It's better to take an early break than to blend a bunch of items that don't go together just to be able to get away from this task. BREATHE. ⭐I FINISHED SORTING THROUGH THE BLACK BAG. YIPPEEEEE! -happy dance- **I now have fully manageable small piles of WELL-SORTED items I THOUGHTFULLY decided to keep. I can fairly swiftly get things to their permanent homes now after another break. 🤸 TO DO! 💥 Put items from the well-sorted piles where everything goes. A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place (PEEP)! CELEBRATE, which also checks off my to-do of self-care and self encouragement. 🧡 💥 Ensure no more misc. items from the area are lurking and need to go somewhere. 💥 Wipe down any flat surfaces that may need it (probably none do, yay!) 💥 Dust my apartment (it only needs a light dusting since I stay on top of this pretty well, yay!) 💥 Make my bed (this takes a while due to OCD and TEN pillows, haha- my parrot always observes/ instructs) 💥 Tidy under bird tree stand (birds eat in a very messy way, but ya gotta love 'em!) 💥 Vacuum well, empty canister and rinse filter. Set out filter to air dry. *hint* I have found bagless vacuums help me the most. There is nothing worse than very much needing to vacuum and being READY to do so but being totally out of vacuum bags, making the task impossible to complete. Plus switching out bags, especially when needing to do deep vacuuming, can be a huge chore itself. 💥 Mop floors. 💗🌹🌼 THEN: Come back to SOS to share my successes and encourage others along their own paths as well. For now: break, water, Gatorade, browse 'net, fun/ self care/ positive self talk.

TA DA!
✅ Put items from the well-sorted piles where everything goes. A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place (PEEP)! CELEBRATE, which also checks off my to-do of self-care and self encouragement. 💚 Yay I am so glad I got this one done!
✅ Ensure no more misc. items from the area are lurking and need to go somewhere. 💚 This one might still throw me a little curve ball but so far, so good!
✅ I neatly gathered the papers and items that need to be within easy reach or require my attention soon.
✅ I found a good method for keeping some small hooks together without zipper top sandwich bags- I used some spare twisty ties. For now this works great. Progress, not perfection! ♥️
✅ I washed and rinsed dishes and put them in the dish rack. Clean/ empty sink now.
TO DO!
💥 Wipe down any flat surfaces that may need it (probably none do, yay!)
💥 Dust my apartment (it only needs a light dusting since I stay on top of this pretty well, yay!)
