I'm back after another long break. Things haven't improved here much, husband is still hoarding rubbish (literal rubbish) and being irresponsible about things like putting the rubbish bins out regularly (something I physically cannot do). We're still in an awful living situation and need to downsize and pack.
I've just discovered a box (at the very bottom of the floor to ceiling stack) that appears to have something leaking from it. I didn't pack it, so I have no idea what's in there, so that's on my to-do list.
First WIT:
* Get dressed * Fuel for my body * Make room for shifting boxes around

Ta-Das: * Dressed * Fueled my body * Looked after husband who is (apparently) bedridden by a cold
To-dos: * Make room to shift boxes around * Locate a box cutter * Check leaking box

Ta-Das: * Make room to shift boxes around * Locate a box cutter * Check leaking box
The mystery leaking box has been emptied and nothing is damaged much that I can see. But I can't identify wth was leaking! It's kinda oily but doesn't smell of anything. The liquid was actually standing in the bottom of the box and poured out when I moved the empty box. I found an open bottle of vanilla room spray - that's as close to a guess as I've come. That and a capped bottle of perfume were the only liquid items in the box. I'll wash the few items that seemed to have the mystery liquid on them before repacking them.
To-dos: * Declutter box, lots of things I won't wear or use again * Wash items being kept * Bag everything before repacking box (don't repack room spray)

hi everyone! clutterbuggles, that sounds really tough with husband. i hope you catch a break soon.
doodles pooh patrol made me smile. i hope that happens outside. my old dog used to be perfectly housetrained but in her old age she has accidents and i can't hold it against her.
i have been thinking nearly zero about clutter and mess and all that and spending lots of time on my hobbies and i think it was really good for my mental health to do that. and it was made possible by the diet i'm on which means i limit sugar and overeating and this had had a surprisingly dramatic effect on my brain, i can focus, i can think better, my memory is much improved, it's quite amazing.
however, i still have a clutter and mess problem so i'll try to focus on that today. off i go... i think i might use physical paper to make an attack plan.

Hey Witsers I am on holiday from work this week. We came home yesterday from a couple of days away at the family's holiday home which was nice. I have no real plans for the rest of the week and I don't want to waste it. I wish I had written down all the ideas I had before I went on holidays because now I can't think of what I want to do! I would like to achieve 3 Things every day: clean something - bathroom shelves make something - dinner & worked on cross stitch some exercise - walked to post box Coffee Started load of washing Made some plans with G Breakfast Hang washing Look at garden
