Well, for some reason I am not sleeping well and I was wide awake at 5:30am...so I decided to start us off.
Dishes Bathroom LR remain on my list, saving laundry for tomorrow. Car - I want to clear some things out. Empty boxes, empty bottles, not much trash.
Ok....better start. DH has to get up shortly.

Good morning ohblondie, thanks for starting the thread! I'm eating breakfast now, I already spent a few minutes standing in the plant room admiring my new plant light. Today is my 5:30 walk day, so I must motivate myself to work, hopefully on the messy living room.

Happy Saturday Everyone
Slept in a bit this morning. Launched husband off to the car dealer where he'll be picking up the new vehicle he's leasing and I feel badly for him, because his OCD/Panic are getting in the way of what should be a celebration. He deserves this, but OCD and anxiety often make you question every decision you make, and that is how he feels right now.
Made my coffee and I'm making eggbeaters with the last of the local tomatoes we got from the farmers' market. I love Autumn, but I will miss the fresh local produce.
@dtesposito Diane, I am SO sorry...with the ME/CFS one of the problems is concentration issues and I just realized I STILL have not answered your question...The exterminators DID inspect all of the apartments that "touch" mine...above, below, and either side and I saw their actual Service Order notes and they did not find any evidence of bugs. HOWEVER, I did find out that 5 buildings in the complex have had them, which confirms my suspicions that they rode in here on either the maintenance crew themselves or in their tools boxes, the cardboard boxes of construction supplies, etc. during the 6 weeks it took them to fix our bathroom. Of course I can't PROVE that, but I know it...my gut instinct has been that all along, but the office here flat out lied and said there have not been any bedbugs in this complex. I hope I finally answered your question. Thanks for being so patient!
@ohblondie I am so very glad that you found that resource to be something useful. While it is HARD for us to keep on fighting our respective issues and challenges, I strongly believe that one of the reasons I face obstacles is to be able to turn around and help someone else some day with what I have learned. Something good HAS to come out of what we go through. I was so grateful for that resource on Weds. I am happy to pass along the information. I don't mean to laugh, but your post about wondering if your feet smell, well, it took me back to bad day back when I still had my career...I had a very small office. It had a desk, my chair, a 4' x 4' filing cabinet, and 2 chairs on the other side of my desk. If there were more than 2 people in there it was cramped. One day I had to show my peers a computer program and they met in my office for a brief meeting. I was wearing a pair of new adorable shoes, but they were "pleather" aka synthetic material. I don't know WHAT they were made of, but about half-way through the morning I started to notice an odd smell. It was the shoes. As they got warm from me wearing them whatever they were made of starting smelling. I didn't have any spare shoes at the office, and the meeting was right before lunch, so I couldn't even run out and buy other shoes. I had a choice: they were either going to smell the weird shoe smell or I was going to have to spray my feet with perfume and hope for the best. I decided that honesty was the best policy and I sent out an "urgent" email to the attendees to tell them that my shoes were smelling FUNKY and they could either try to suffer through it or we could reschedule. Of course as soon as each one read the email they came to my office immediately to see (smell ) what I was talking about. It was embarrassing, but at least we got the awkwardness out of the way and we had the meeting. I threw those shoes away as soon as I got home. PS: Thank you for your kind words about the whole bug ordeal.
@oust Does the tumeric oil stain your skin and your clothes? Can you recommend a brand name? I have chronic back pain and would love to try anything that could help with it. Sorry your hands are bothering you.

Good morning SetMeFree! Thanks for the info about the other apartments--I didn't mean to "bug" you about it but I was so worried that maybe your terrible management company wanted to save money so skipped inspecting the other apartments! And then you would be back in a number of months to do it all over again. Interesting that they had them in other buildings in the complex--I'm sure you're right about them being brought in with the workers, their tool boxes and such were probably laying around on the floor all day so anything could crawl in. Is there anything you can do to get a jump start on when you'll have to put things back? I guess all you can do is clean floors, etc., even if you identified bags of stuff that you might be able to purge things from you'd have to do it outside and then wrap the stuff back up that you were going to keep. Not worth the hassle. Even though my living room is a mess I seem to be obsessed with finishing the plant room project. There are various little things that still need doing in there, I got rid of some things in a box of miscellaneous but kept some other things. It's starting to look really good in there, though. I think I'll keep working in there, and alternate doing a few things in the LR too. Diane

Hello dtesposito SetMeFree and ohblondie and anyone else who comes along I have not posted in s couple days. With DD back on school and activities, we are both tired; getting up an hour earlier is taking some toll still Yesterday was Uber busy. Dd and I both had doc check ups- routine- and due to some scheduling factors, had to be on the same day. So I took her to school, went to work, went to my doc, back to work, had an outside lunch meeting that was for fun but also to ask person to volunteer for a professional event, back to work, then left to get dd from school, get to her doc, take dd home , back to work, leave work, fill up gas tank, go home, feed cats, go with dd to meet sister at restaurant, have dinner, drive sister home, come home, sit down, wake up on couch at 5 am!!! so I then went to bed and slept in Now I fed the cats Put away clean dishes Washed yesterday dishes Very tired feeling. On the docket Laundry Groceries Vacuum And work on Basement. I did not for the past two days I am a person who absolutely hates going to the doctor!! I know not many like it, but I get really Anxious. I only had four hours sleep on Thursday night, so I was just running on adrenaline for all that stuff Friday So I’ll take it easy today Some good news I weigh 12 pounds less than last year!!

Well, I put away some bars of soap so I could toss the wrapper (and to get the soap off the sink). Since I was on a roll, I finished some cookies to throw away the wrapper and get them off the kitchen counter!!!!

goodness, its Saturday already? yikes!
SetMeFree what a brilliant solution to the shoe funk problem. I love your courage to be human!
Yesterday I worked on DMs very slow computer, and discovered it was a common problem with the Mojave OS. There were lots of articles about how to speed it up, and I discovered that having lots of files on the desktop slows things down. She had an entire BACKUP from her previous PC on her desktop! So that was the first thing I fixed, and also talked to DPs about shutting down the computer every day. It allows the mac to clear the caches, its not designed to do it manually. Its a start.
I have a long list of things to do, and I need to get rolling on it. I could not sleep at all last night. Full moon, perhaps?
DONE: read DF's memo checked in on fb checked inbox, did some deletion and found a way to unsub from an annoying daily email check online balance wrote down the list of auto pays
updated paypal with new card checked notifications and posted checked in w/ DM

Hello magda, lennon, and scholar. Oust, I think I missed your post before--how bad does the tendonitis get? Not a good thing for someone who has cleaning jobs!
I've been alternating--I'm letting myself do one thing in the plant room, and then I have to come out and put something away from the living room. The LR looks a lot better, and I'm working slowly on the little leftover things in the plant room.
I now have less than an hour until I have to go out to my walk, so I'm going to sit down and rest my feet.

I rested my feet for a while and then I collected some garbage and recycling to take out with me, as well as some more little library books. Off to my walk!

Oh my, just wrote a long post and accidentally deleted it.
I had an early am commitment and a late afternoon commitment. I piddled around not accomplishing much. I met my son at the home of a lady from church. She is renting her upstairs flat. It is nice. 3-4 bedroom. An older home with high ceilings and wood trim well he and at least one friend decided to rent it. There might be a third friend moving in. Rent is reasonable. The guy who moved out left a nice sofa, kitchen table and chairs, coffee table TV stand,. Bed, night stand.
It needs a good scrubbing but it is a sweet apartment and has a front and back enclosed porch!
He wanted to take the bedroom set from my guest room but I don't think it will fit in his room.
My mom has a bed for me that I will take so I can set up his old room as a guest room. I am so excited to have two guest rooms. This is really motivation to get the LR and DR cleaned out so that I can have company!!!!
Wow this house will really be empty!
