[quote author= mylittlescholar - I'm like Swampy - I just treat it and throw it in the laundry hamper. Now if only I could get DH to do that or at least MENTION to me that he has a weird stain. Still haven't PEEPed. Ate soup for supper and now getting ready to go by DM's. You may not see me until tomorrow. [/quote] What is PEEP? Also, I am so laissez faire about it that I put the stain stick on at the washer and wash it. Repeat until stain gone. I'm not good at soaking things, mostly because of having no surface nearby.

DONE: Found an old rag and wiped down one apple area on the wood floor. Rag is now rinsed and lying on the second area. Vacuumed the stairs except the top two because the extension cord wouldn't reach! I wanted to give up, but I brought the vacuum upstairs and plugged it in and will finish the top two stairs in my next round Cleared stuff off of my bed and found a few more things to recycle
TO DO: Vacuum cat hairs from cat bed Remove last few stray items from bed and straighten covers put away at least one dry dish

Thank you CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity I KNEW you would have the answers! soapyclean PEEP is A place for everything and everything in its place. Basically means I'm putting away things that actually have a home that is not on a flat surface like my countertops and tables. Hi doodles - guess you are on for second/third shift as the US people are winding down. Have a good day! And razy too! Ran errand for DM, visited, medicated her cat. Fortunately, he is a lover and forgives me quickly. Going to put away the load in the dryer and switch the last load for tonight. I put away the soup. If ambitious, will wash the few dishes in the sink and cut up a pineapple. However, I'm most likely to read those links that Lion posted. Good night all - see you in "my" morning! PC

Feel better soapyclean
phoenixcat great job on laundry! That is awesome. Yes i understand about the linen laundry. Hope dm and kitty are ok.
doodles youve gotten a great start on the day!
razy i think its hard because you have other big things on the slate for today. Plus you mowed the whole lawn and monster foliage trimming, those are big jobs too.
seahorse yes i knit a whole hat today. Its a very simple one and im using bernat blanket which is super bulky. Are you a regular knitter? Is the scarf too difficult for your skill level? Do you not like the yarn not that youre working on it? Its ok to change your mind and frog it. I started a sweater and while the skeins looked beautiful and felt soft, i hated the yarn. I didnt like how the colors knitted up, the yarn was very "splitty". I realized i would never wear the sweater. I frogged it and gave the yarn to someone who admired it and she was Thrilled. Amnesty (a wonderful concept i learned here) is a great thing. It not only applies to our clutter and squalor but also to the things we spend our time and money on. FYI theres a thread called "crafty bits" where we talk about our creative projects. You could ask there for help or suggestions, or show off your finished or in progress work.
Finished fifth load of laundry. Everything folded and put away. Put sweater in drying rack. Cleaned up cat gak in kitchen, dining room and living room. Most of it was dried up so i swept it with a dust broom and dust pan. Tis the season to shed and Gak. Heading to bed now.

G'night Northern ponies and G'day Southern ponies!
I did a couple more loads and the laundry is pretty much DONE! I needed hangers, so I took my bin into my closet and rolled up the (high) hanging fruit, to mix metaphors and almost puns. I even shot a bit of video and sorted the summer things by smaller and larger sizes!
I also got a call from another friends which was nice, as I'm not socializing this weekend.
Did a tiny bit of work in the garage, labeling bins and such.

Good morning! I'm up early and want to get a few things done before heading out for the day with a few friends. Unswamping - I love the concept of Amnesty for unfinished projects!!! I've been part of a knitting group for many years, but I don't actually enjoy knitting - I go for the socializing. The scarf I am making is perfect for a beginner and I really want to finish it because I want to give it to a friend who really likes it (the pattern and color). In fact, she's ended up doing many rows for me! Maybe I'll just hand it over to her and she can finish it in a weekend. . razy - I'm so impressed by how much yardwork you accomplished today - awesome! And getting a visit and grocery shopping in, too! mylittlescholar - nice job on finishing the laundry - woohoo - and some clothes sorting! DONE: washed most of the dishes TO DO Finish washing dishes Get lettuce out of fridge and find salad spinner Clear last few items off of foyer/dining table

Finished washing dishes, except for the pot I burned making popcorn yesterday, which is soaking before I scrub it again. (Anyone have tricks to removing burnt spot from a steel pot?) Got out lettuce and salad spinner Cleared last few items from foyer/dining table Wiped down foyer/dining table Emptied vacuum canister Vacuumed half of foyer area Was very excited that the two apple piles were gone and that the floor was not sticky using Unswamping's hot rag method. Also used it last night on a long-time crusty spot under the table and that's now gone - thank you!!! Wash lettuce and put in salad spinner Finish vacuuming foyer Arrange fall items on foyer/dining table

Did you sleep at all seahorse? While coffee cooking - finished loading the dishwasher and started it. Washed all the "sink" dishes and they are air-drying. Refreshing the last load of shirts from last night and started the linen laundry. After I check around here: 1) get cleaned up 2) eat breakfast 3) FINALLY work on the PEEP and I may be due for a laundry switch by that time. I want to spend 3 hours at DM's this afternoon so going to try and get to "baseline before that.

Great dealing with dishes and good luck getting to baseline before leaving. I'm trying to do the same before i get picked up by friends at 12:30 for an all day/evening outing! Would love to come home to a welcoming foyer/kitchen/living room. Got out 5 containers and lids, spun lettuce, tore it and added to containers Confirmed plan with friend Worked on work task that if finished today will make my Monday morning much easier! TO DO: Rinse red cabbage, slice, add to salads Get carrot out of fridge and rinse Get out cutting board and knife So glad I'm not driving today because I am going to crash later on this afternoon/evening!
