After I check around here: 1) get cleaned up 2) eat breakfast 3) FINALLY work on the PEEP and I may be due for a laundry switch by that time. 3rd load in the washer - 2nd load in the dryer. Breaking down the PEEP: 1) open and break down the boxes that have arrived in the last week. 2) Build a mobile cart that is in one of the boxes 3) Straighten out my truck because I need to carry this mobile cart around and no room at the moment.

seahorse wow youve gotten so much done. Giving the scarf to your friend to finish sounds like a great idea. I can understand going to the group for the socializing. Do you not like knitting because youre a beginner and its hard or is it something you really just dont like? If its because youre a beginner, it does get easier with practice. Also picking easy projects so youre not frustrated and friendly yarn. I think bernat blanket is a very friendly beginner yarn. Just dont do solid black, its very hard to see your stitches. Its super bulky and its a chenille yarn so no plies to split as youre working. If you just dont like knitting, thats ok too. Maybe you could try crochet or some type of loom knitting. Youre free to amnesty knitting too!
Tricks for removing burnt spot. I use baking soda as scouring powder. It doesnt scratch. I would wet the baking soda with hot water, make a paste over burnt spot. Leave it sit for ten minutes then rub off. Depending on how bad it is, you might need to repeat. If there is burnt on kernels, not just scorching, i would do a 10 minute soak in hot water. When ever i have difficult to clean dishes (burnt on, dried on stuff), the first thing i do is a ten minute hot water soak. Wipe and repeat. Im serious when i said i dont scrub and scour. Hot water soaks are amazing. Fyi, it just needs 10 minutes or so, leaving overnight or longer doesnt add any benefit. Then the water might get stinky. BTDT

Haha Unswamping - i think the looong thread is my fault! Thanks for burnt pot tips - will try them this week. Oh and knitting - I really just don't enjoy it. I find it tedious! It's one of those things that i want to like, but just don't. I mostly have given myself amnesty with it, but would love to finish the scarf if I can. We'll see! DONE: Prepare and eat healthy lunch Put away most of dry dishes TO DO: Get ready for outing. Yikes, the morning was stretching out and now my deadline is here! There is where it's breaks down for me. I have 30 minutes to get ready for my outing with friends. Need to take quick shower (no time to wash hair, too cold out, but that's ok and nothing new ). Need to dress in walking clothes and shoes and bring another outfit for house concert and dinner. Will be casual. Need to remember change of undies, bra and socks. Venue might be chilly. Have money for ticket. What else? Friend driving, might need to doze in car... Wish I could wash today's dishes, but probably won't have time. Oh well, at least there's not two weeks' worth looming in my kitchen! So happy to have healthy lunches prepped, some clean floors and less fruit flies. Hope everyone has a delightful day! Thanks for support!

Have a great day seahorse - this is why we do what we do so that we can enjoy these other activities without worrying so much. I think I googled it one time when I had burnt up a pan and the suggestion was to boil water in it. Not sure if there was anything in the water or not but it worked great on whatever I was trying to clean. Hope the popcorn was good - that is my desert island food. 1) open and break down the boxes that have arrived in the last week. 2) Build a mobile cart that is in one of the boxes 3) Straighten out my truck because I need to carry this mobile cart around and no room at the moment. Well - there was junk in the trunk from the place we used to live - toll pass. Apparently, it hasn't been done in a while. Took out two pairs of sunglasses out of the six that were in there. FYI - I have prescription sunglasses so NONE of them are mine. Wait - one is a clip on to my regular glasses just in case. Anyway, I think three pairs is enough for DH. Bonus: took out an envelope of coins and actually FOUND an empty coin purse in the house to use moving forward. Mobile cart assembly was just two snap on wheels. Took longer to wrestle it out of the box. All packaging has been put in recycling or garbage. Sheets in dryer and first comforter in the wash. Next: 1) Clear off countertops - empty dishwasher in kitchen. 2) Clear off entertainment unit and move most of the stuff to the office. AKA where things go to die 3) Clear off bathroom counters of garbage and recycling Probably another laundry switch. Trying to leave in 3 hours.

seahorse its great if the long thread is because of you. You got so much stuff done! Enjoy your day. Im sorry you find knitting tedious, it can be. I like using striping yarn so that the color changes and makes it more interesting. Plus right now ive been trying to learn one new sititch or skill on every project. So that helps too. But yes scarves! They go on forever and ever!
phoenixcat wow! You are charging ahead! on the toll pass. Sunglasses do not do well kept in tne car, especially if they are plastic. Sun, heat and temperature changes degrade the plastic. Ive had two pair snap on the arm because i keep them in console.
First load is done. Going to start second. First load was two blankets. Im not really fond of the one, its very thin and not full size. Its white fleece so its easy to get it confused with the other two white fleece blankets and throw. So i think im going to make it the car blanket. With fold and put in car stuff bag.

puppybox! I totally get it on the efficiency thing. nice work everypony else!
Thanks for the laundry-stain pep talks. Its one of the places where my OCD-tendencies show up. *sigh* I have all the different types of stain removers that Carbona makes, and most of them have to be laundered immediately. I do now have a dedicated sink and bowl that makes it a bit easier. But it would be a lot better if when I stain something, I deal with it right away, so that I can remember what the stain is, and use the right product, and toss it in the wash. Which means loosening up about having the perfect load! So I will work on that.
DONE: morning routine long nap cause my sleep is so messed up socializing
NEXT UP: find something to listen to open the first box of the day!
