Good Monday Ohblondie and Diane!! Can you believe it's November? eek!! I woke my 13 yo this morning and after laying on the sofa 20 minutes she asked if she could stay home. She didn't complain yesterday about not feeling good but it is that time. I will be getting the other 2 up soon. I am expecting possible bumps in the road today. K was up a good part of the night. Hubby took care of a wet bottom/bed issue at 11:30 pm. I still heard her talking away around 2 am. So she is going to be tired. But I really can't stay home today unless I have to. So I'll get her off to school and see how she does. Packed lunches - had daughter put her uncrustable back in freezer before going back to bed Coffee Fed fish and cats Gathered up dirty laundry Started colors in washer Showered & dressed me Budget for December (I did November on Friday but really need to look forward and see how to bed manage Dec) Checkbook checked against bank & marked off items cleared Wake K K in bath, hair washed, dressed and hair brushed K breakfast Wake J J dressed J breakfast Me breakfast J & K out door to school Unload dishwasher & load Rotate laundry Pack my lunch Get dinner in crockpot Go to work

Hi Angie, Diane and ohblondie Happy Monday! I was messed up by the time change today. I was adding an hour to the clock and asking DD why she was up and ready early. Got her off to school on time Fed cats Put away clean dishes Made bed All scrubbed and ready for work Packed lunch At work a little early - my goal - to not give the slackers any excuses. So far email and one meeting. Also scanned and sent a document to my financial planner Next: make a list and keep going! MamaAngie I hope your DD feels better and K has a good day -you work so hard!

Hi Angie, Diane and ohblondie Happy Monday! I was messed up by the time change today. I was adding an hour to the clock and asking DD why she was up and ready early. MamaAngie I hope your DD feels better and K has a good day -you work so hard! magda seems my husband goofed up one of the clocks. I do all the digital clocks that don't change themselves --- my bedside, microwave, oven and my car. He just has to take care of the 3 hanging clocks. Well the bathroom clock was set FORWARD an hour like yours. I knew what time it was but when I went in to get K out of the bath and it said 9:50, I was like, "Wait a minute!!" I am crossing my finger on K! She has been having some rough days the last couple weeks at school. Last week she had her period so that was definitely a rough time. Seems she is having headaches but she can't really tell us what is wrong. She was holding her head some days at school. She gets mad and grabs her backpack and marches to the door. They have toughed it out and not called me to get her .... yet! Once she gets home she is fine. I think E (the one staying home) is not THAT sick. But she was very emotional and over-the-top this am. If I have to go get K, I will bring her home and leave her with E who is almost 14 and they are okay for an hour or two together. My husband is going to have a light work day though so he will probably be home by 12:30 or 1:00 I am guessing. It's just a hassle to run from work to the school. I work about 11 miles West and the school is about 4 miles East of us. So it's a trek out there and back to work. But we do what we have to as parents!

Okay, here is a case where I have to make a decision. I have 1 solid wood, carpeted set of pet stairs that are really good and I'm taking them with me even though I don't have an animal that needs them. I have 3 sets of pet stairs that are the plastic frame with cover kind. I washed the covers yesterday and vacuumed the frames today. One of the frames has a couple of pieces that keep popping out and I have to force them back in. Another frame had a piece taped with clear packing tape, which I never knew because it was solid. All three plastic frames are dirty and would need to be washed to be donated. On the one hand I do not want to spend time doing that. On the other hand, there was a time where I would have been thrilled to see pet stairs in a thrift shop when I needed them. So, what will I do.
Next:
Move laundry to dryer 10 minutes on plants
3 dice rolls

Diane -- don't let the decision consume you for too long. What feels like the best route for you? I know for me (and this is just me) if I don't get the item out of the house quick enough after deciding it needs to go, it may be a long time before it goes. How long will it take you to clean them up? Do you think the damaged one could still be sold or would they toss it in the trash anyway? J dressed Me breakfast K out door to school Email attendance office for E Mobile deposit of check Paid 2 bills Entered payments in checkbook, re-balanced checkbook and logged in budget file Get J's shoes & socks on and out the door on bus Rotate laundry Get dinner in crockpot Go to work

Angie WTG on getting dinner started. I have us in “eat down the supplies” mode. DD won’t be happy most likely! We could have frozen pizza or a pasta dish. Have veggie burgers too. I think she’ll pick pizza.
At lunch at work. My mind is distracted by a few personal life issues that I have to make decisions on.
Work afternoon looks clear of meetings! Hope to power through some projects
Next Update checkbook File some personal papers Then back to work.
My personal papers are in my mystery bag - this is an attractive and nice tote that I carry to and from work every day. It has a bunch of personal papers in some files -sometimes it has shoes and lunch bag in it. I hardly ever look at the papers!!! Yet I carry them in every day!!! And home every night!!!! Cray cray. I am going to force myself to deal —they are tied to a difficult, long-term decision that I am finally working on.

Good morning everypony!
Diane could you just do a "lick and a promise" in term of washing the ones to be donated? And let the recipients handle the rest? Or won't they take them unless they are decontaminated?
MamaAngie its days like this that make me wish we had the tradition of the "red tent" where you could drop your girls off and know they would be well looked after.
I was able to sleep in this morning. been fooling around of fb, but was able to get a good news update about a distressing situation a family member has been dealing with. DXH is freaking out about another mutual friends distress, and that is spilling over into his fears about decluttering. But the guy taking down trees in the neighborhood just came by with an offer of wood, so hopefully that will at least get his body moving and his mind on other things.
I feel good about what I got accomplished last night. Don't think I'll post this week's lists until I get some actual work done. Daylight's a-waistin'!

Diane - I’d probably toss the pet stairs that pop out. Not sure if the taped one is also broken. I agree with the cursory wash. Are you able to put stuff on the curb for freebies?
