There have been times I have changed a clock not knowing DH already changed it and vice versa! For a day or so I can be in a fog.
My meeting tonight got postponed. Woohoo...
Now to make a plan.

So, right after my last post I lost internet access, plus when I turned the tv on the channel I was watching last night came on, but I couldn't change it because it said it couldn't access the internet. I waited a while in case it was temporary, but it stayed out, so I called. They couldn't fix it over the phone so have to come out tomorrow afternoon.
Right after I got off the phone with them, it came back on. However, I think it will go in and out because of a permanent problem. So I'm posting here, in case I disappear until tomorrow night!

Months ago I got a recorded phone message saying it was Comcast, and they detected a problem in my internet which is not I won't be noticing yet, but they'll have to come into my apartment to fix it. The caller ID did not say Comcast, the whole thing sounded like a scam call, so I ignored it. Apparently it's not a scam, they really do detect problems before they occur. However, I told the person I spoke with they really need to change the message because it sounded really fake. So, there IS a problem, and I don't know how much access I will have until they come out tomorrow to fix it.

Oh, and while I was without internet access, I made the decision on the cat stairs--I'm throwing the two damaged plastic frames away, I covered the one good frame and put the two other covers in a bag that says "extra covers" and fastened it to the frame.
I'm going to keep working on getting rid of cat-related stuff because it's everywhere I go. And I have to get the place ready for them to come in and check the connection inside my apartment. This is not a good time since I have piles of books everywhere and just about every room is messy, but I don't really care. I'll get it as neat as I can by tomorrow and not worry about it.

Internet still okay.
I forgot to say that I did wash the one cat frame I'm donating, it turned out to just be dust which washed off easily under the shower head. While using the shower head, I decided to give a shower to my large Christmas cactus, inspired by the "dusting" thread on this site. The Christmas cactus seems to hold dust better than my other plants, even though the leaves are smooth.
I took a bunch of garbage and recycling outside, put books in the little library, and filled the water bowl under the tree. Every time I think I'll stop putting water out there I see someone use it--the other day I was looking out of the window and saw a squirrel come across the next door front yard and head straight for the bowl for a drink.
Now I'm making lunch and will take a cable news/Christmas movie/reading break--assuming the tv is still working.

ugh internet problems are so frustrating!
I got through two boxes and am working on the third. Then I helped DXH move a heavy saw and unload some branches. Now he is trying to get a friend's four wheeler to run, so he can load the cut ones on a trailer so we don't have to wheelbarrow them up a hill to the porch. NOW he is jumping the battery. The garage door is open, which is why I a giving you the blow-by-blow. I guess I should go back to work!

I was nicely productive in the afternoon at work. Had to work a little late
Came home. On an “eating down supplies” plan to use up existing food and not buy groceries this week. DD selected frozen pizza for tonight -I think it is downhill from here on in.
Talked w DD for a bit she was full of school stories today ☺️
Then sat on couch and played a computer game and watched news and.., fell asleep!
Now I must do something. The Plan: Fold and put away laundry load Clean litter Wash dishes Vac hallway Sort through papers
My best way to get moving and off couch is to shut off tv and set timer for one hour and just do it

Hello lennon. Magda, I had a frozen pizza tonight too! I actually have lots of odds and ends to eat up from the fridge, but that will wait until tomorrow night when, hopefully, the Comcast person has come and gone--I wanted something simpler tonight.
I talked to all the usuals--my sister, my shopping friend and my delcluttering client. I straightened up the living room--there's lots of stuff in here, but at least it's neatly packed along the walls. I did some decluttering in the DR as well, but still have to do the kitchen. The Comcast person will almost certainly come into the living room, but might also want to go through the apartment to the back, so I have to have at least a relatively neat path through.
I think I might be up late again tonight.

Good night magda!
Funny, my internet has been fine all day. I'm not going to cancel the appointment for tomorrow though, since they say their equipment is seeing a problem.
I finished my night time routine, it's a lot shorter now. I also straightened up some in the kitchen and DR.
I will get to bed now too, good night everyone, see you in the morning.

Angie WTG on getting dinner started. I have us in “eat down the supplies” mode. DD won’t be happy most likely! We could have frozen pizza or a pasta dish. Have veggie burgers too. I think she’ll pick pizza. At lunch at work. My mind is distracted by a few personal life issues that I have to make decisions on. Work afternoon looks clear of meetings! Hope to power through some projects My husband looks like I am crazy when I say this. But I am often trying to "eat down the supplies" .... or at least shop minimally to compliment what we have in the cupboards and fridge. I did buy the stew beef and peppers for last night's dinner. We had ground turkey on hand and I made a meatloaf the night before and we used packaged mashed potatoes and gravy from the cupboard. I cooked up the rest of that ground turkey and seasoned with taco seasoning so we are having tacos tonight. Those distractions are sometimes necessary but still tough.

MamaAngie its days like this that make me wish we had the tradition of the "red tent" where you could drop your girls off and know they would be well looked after.
I was able to sleep in this morning. The day turned out okay mylittlescholar. I didn't hear a peep from K's teacher!! She must have texted me 4 or 5 times over the previous 2 weeks about how unhappy she had been. E rested up and also did a little homework yesterday. I think she had a case of "the mornings." Yes she has a bit of a cold but probably could have made it had she just started getting ready. We haven't had problems with her for a couple years now with excessive tardiness. 6th grade was rough on her. She did not like school -- mostly her homeroom teacher was the problem. She gets anxiety and then that would manifest in to a stomach ache. So good I stayed at work all day. I planned on an easy day but as soon as I got there had a co-worker ask me if I had time to help her. 3 hours later I was done with her work. Good for you sleeping in yesterday!! Since this time change, my body is waking me up at least an hour earlier than I need to get up.

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday everyone!! Well I was up at 5 am due to my body not wanting to adjust to this stupid time change. I loaded up the dishwasher and started it. Seems my daughter emptied yesterday afternoon and I didn't know. Nobody loaded dinner dishes in. Have been sipping on coffee and playing on the computer. Just updated our debit card info with chewy.com. Funny thing is when I ordered last month from them and set up the autoship, I gave my new debit card and set is as the primary. I couldn't figure out how to delete the expired one. But it still defaulted to that one. Entered that and a refund from Walmart into the check register. Wake all 3 kids Pack 3 kid lunches Pack my lunch Feed kids & me Strip K's bed and make Start K's bedding in wash K bath, dressed, etc J dressed Shower & dress me Fold & put away basket K's bedding
