I had a lunch break as I was hungry and it is afternoon here already. I also did few small things from my to do list, like made a shopping list. Now I'll put my timer on again for ten minutes. I hope someone will pop in here as it would motivate me to be accountable! Must starting to be morning in America already!

Ten minutes go by so fast! I barely get started each time. Well, another sesssion done, I started writing the document and doing the research it needs. Yay, I will get it done!

Crisis cleaning today and probably into the wee hours. We have a home appointment tomorrow that will pretty much make or break our chance at getting out of this horrible housing situation we're still in 3 years later. I've been paralysed with anxiety and perfection stinkin' thinkin'. Now it must be done now - fight or flight be damned.
First 3: [ ]Boil the kettle (We have no hot water, I'm not sitting down for a cuppa) [ ]Gather stuff to be washed [ ]Put away the clean stuff in the dish rack

clutterbuggles Good luck! I also tend to get paralysed. YOu can do this! I am also tackling difficult tasks today. I am currently doing them 10 minutes at a time, and doing something else in between. I also have a kickboxing session planned after I get the one big task done I am working on now. *** Speaking of which, my break is done, I refined my todo list a bit and scanned few papers I need. And drank water. I always drink water on my breaks. I am listening uplifting (but calming) music and now it's time for another ten minute session. I will continue writing the text I started in my last session and doing the research it needs.

My timer says now it's time for a bit longer break, although to be honest I have taken somewhat long breaks already.
But another session done, I got the document text forward nicely. Next session will be mostly researching few things for the document.

Longer break done. I used part of that time starting to research an order I need to place tonight.
Now onward, the next 10 minutes starts now! I hope I will get this done within 2 sessions at most. It has already taken longer than I expected (not counting the breaks in between)

Gosh 10 minutes is already done. In general I don't like working in sessions this short, but it does help with anxiety.
I got my document writing forward, also I think I have now done most of the reserach needed. Now a small break (will continue planning my order for the evening).

Sorry to keep spamming the thread, but I am still working on my threes! I should get this particular task done after one more session, even if it means working a bit longer than 10 minutes.
So, to make a new list of three:
1. finish the document and email it 2. kickboxing 3. quick shower (it's already mid afternoon here, I was supposed to get my kickboxing and showering done before noon!)

I've also taken a short break to eat something and take some meds as I've been dealing with nausea all morning and it was preventing me from being more productive. I did it, I just finished this document I have been working on today - about 4 hours later than I had hoped to, but it is done! I will change my list a bit, because right now I am starving, so next is eating something light, then exercising, then shower. babz25 thanks! The kickboxing I refered to isn't the hardcore type, just a workout inspired by kickboxing! They are so fun! It seems like not many from Europe use the forums during the day, as there has been many days when I have hoped to get some company and no-one seemed to be active. But great that American continent is starting to wake up!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, clutterbuggles , OnTheMend , and babz25 ! Clutterbuggles, good luck on your final push doing what needs to be done. Determination, priorities, adrenaline, and a few rest breaks will see you through. Onthemend, I read your posts all the time. You are doing an amazing job of keeping track of work, university transfer, home maintenance, and moving. I start slowly and my time zone is nine hours west of you, but I can keep you company. I might feel silly with my ta-das including getting out of bed and having coffee while you're packing 10 boxes, but I can cheerlead. 1) Had breakfast and coffee. 2) Texted daughter and friend. 3) Wrote down today's priorities. 1) Get dressed and have second mug of coffee. 2) Respond to friend's text. 3) Draft an email to daughter.
