I was trying to figure out how these were different from the previous six, and then I realized that you now have A-F as the names. That should make it easier to remember for you and us. Very cool system you have going here!

goldenthreads, yes, they are the same list, I tweaked them for alliteration's sake. I'm an accountant. Used to have a a client who ran a an upscale Inn. I used "accoutrements" in an email to him. He was like, what's that. Umm soap lotion etc the things you give your guests... He replied something about words. then I sent another email, a list of words similar usage meaning as accoutrement 10 words or so, all same thing, all starting with the letter A. Yea, I like words and alliteration. Tomorrow is my new week. Need to finish today.

I haven't picked my next reward, yet. I have been wanting a new floor lamp. I found a lovely one. Spendy, tho, too much for a reward like this. Hmm contemplation. Thoughts? Well, if you're serious about that lamp, it could be a reward for succeeding in several challenge series. But if it's too expensive for other reasons that wouldn't make sense. Don't know enough about your tastes and preferences for other things/experiences. Are you thinking of a self-care item again? Does your sewing machine need a tune-up or do you do that yourself? I have a long-running wish list that I keep on my computer. If you have such a thing, you could take a peek and use an item from that for your next reward. You just got your kitchen appliances where you want them. Could you buy some small luxury ingredient and make something with that? Or a little collection of teas? A pair of hand weights? A way to display your sewn goods as wall decoration?

goldenthreads, I was contemplating the same thing. Divide the price of the lamp by the pedicure, it comes out to 6 sets of 10 days, so it would be a 2 month reward. Kind of defeats the 10 day reward. Plus, I'm working on debt elimination. ...maybe the success of my challenges can be the reward, now that I have broken thru to motivation. Will ponder. I need lampshades...for some other lamps. Got it! I want a fiscars circle cutter. TaDa Tidy kitchen Running DW

TaDa Whoosh things change quickly
That estate sale that I had been at, I posted over in accountability acquisitions. Well, they had this bed that I like, actually it was a whole set Queen Anne reproduction four poster, tall dresser on high legs, long low Bureau, two night stand. The bed was $350. Half-off would have been $175. Awesome bed, I like the rest of it too. Each piece was about 350 bucks, with the nightstands lower.
They called me and ask me if I wanted the whole set for $600. Well I need a bedroom, my bed frame is from Slumberland, and one of the Rails is breaking so I have to replace that anyway.
So, yes. Now, where to put it? My sewing room is empty so that I can take off wallpaper and paint cetera. But all that furniture is in the bedroom. The room that is going to be my bedroom, upstairs. Right now my bedroom is in an extra room on the main floor because that's where I put it so I could have knee surgery. There's no place for furniture.
So I don't have a dining room table set-up right now and there's just a buffet and a bunch of random Hardware boxes and a bunch of kitchen / dining room boxes to unpack.
So... B Both inhalers F Breakfast C Took upstairs 2 bins 2 boxes , a bag of newspapers for remodeling Clearing entry All trash out, Re Line Replace mop head, it had soured and I think mold started Bleach soaking bucket Bath window open fan out to remove the must Refill bath foam pump Make foam solution All random groceries piled dining room Moved to kitchen Clearing dining room Arranging boxes Swept Moved bureau Its going into living room, size shape color goes better than what's in there for entertainment center So, there should be room for the furniture Bonus, the bar table is in a place I can now use it, both to eat off, set in coming groceries on, use the cutting mat rotary cutter for quilting Spot clean a bit of floor where a vegetable melted
I'm hot and tired.
Almost 2:00 they should be here soon.

NewLifeToday , it's very kind of you to say so. This has been a decades long struggle for me. I have gained and lost ground many times over. Just trying to say, I'm pretty much the same as everyone here. That said, it does feel like something has broken open, a layer peeled open and fell off. I really want these few days of success to multiply... Sat 8/22 B-3 D-1 C-45 F-2 Sun TaDa Up Coffee Contemplation I don't need to write a listzilla, yesterday's is still good, since I had the big dining room sidetrack/clean-up. I want to find a particular old flannel sheet. My house is really big rooms with wood floors. A swiffer is just too small. I bought commercial dust mops at a janitor supply. 2, one for main floor, one for upstairs. I want to make flannel dust mop covers. Yesterday, I looked in 3 blanket boxes, no joy. I read my planner, the list of packed boxes, nothing is marked donor sheets. So, maybe throw in the mop cover,so to speak,, and use first suitable fabric I unearth. It's been buried this long, it doesn't matter if "it's good enough for a quilt", eh?

C Fold pantyhose, tidied drawer While I'm clean from last night's shower, Fold put 2-1/2 loads backlog clean laundry, bed is clear, ready to change Washing 3 bed pillows Put clean cases on 2 living room pillows Moved stack of chipboard entry>library The bureau that is sitting between liv rm dining room, pending being set up as the ent center, was in old house sewing room. I went to put a clean linen, oops, left 3 drawers are sewing. Dug thru them for mop covers, found 3 fabrics. Looked at misc cleaning box it's an under bath sink box. 2 Little handled bins, cleaning and shoe polish. Down bath under lav sink is small and full. Up bath is a blasted pedestal. Yuk. These small decisions totally make me stuck. Hey, it's a box. Finish it, one more done. Go, mouseanne! Whoosh.
