Glad to see there are so many happy cats and clean litter boxes out there in SS-land.
TADAs: 1. Made more progress on scraping the (*#)@*# contact paper (older condo, many layers, several of them quite ugly Austin Powers-ish) 2. Finished recipe 3. Made bed
TODOs: 1. Take my break outside 2. Half hour in study with paper monster 3. Go back on my WIT word -- there still is too much of the thin layers of paper with glue on the shelves for me to be comfortable giving up. Old building, old plumbing. Possibility of germs, etc., lurking in what's still on there. Sigh. Better to do a better job now than to have to do it sometime in the future. Sigh!

Good afternoon, everybody!
Lots of laundry getting done today! Me, too.
The dogs are back from the vet's, and I've started in on the mess.
DONE: -ate lunch and cleaned up after -started a load of towels -made a couple of important phone calls -scooped the cat box
TO DO: -switch towels to dryer -tidy the living room--a bigger job than it sounds -make up a grocery list
eatingbonbons, as far as dogs' nails go, I have one of each and one mixed. One has black nails, so I clip them fairly frequently and only remove the tips; one has light nails, and she's easy; one has mostly light nails, but a couple of dark ones that scare me--I'm always afraid I'll get them too short and hurt her. <fingers crossed> although I haven't yet. None of them like it, but if DH holds and I clip, we can get it done without too much fuss. They do like the treats at the end.

I like your new name, eatingbonbons! Well, I haven't started on the tomatoes yet, but I 1)deleted some old crap from my computer. 2)folded more laundry and got it upstairs. 3)took baby out for another walk. He is a little delayed at starting to talk, so I take him out and point out interesting things to him so he will learn more words. He has started to point at the things he wants me to name for him, so I think he might start talking more soon. His hearing is at the lower end of normal, so we are really watching him for delays. He is almost 20 months old. So far, so good. It's been a bad day for athsma. I'm thinking I'll enlist the help of my teenager with the tomatoes. I always try to do everything by myself, and end up getting not much done. I'm also not doing my kids any favors by not teaching them how to do workish things as often as I should. So when he gets home I'll have him go out to the yard with me. Hubby is very sore from work, and I won't ask him to help this time. But I need to get the tomatoes in the ground before it rains again tomorrow. To do's 1)Ask for help on tomatoes and get the holes dug by using teamwork of some kind. 2)Change our sheets. 3)Help seven year old son change his sheets.

Sorry to hear your asthma has been acting up! I need to get my tomatoes planted soon too. The plant has been sitting on my back patio for oh, about two weeks now. Maybe tomorrow afternoon, if the weather is nice. Ta das: - emptied/reloaded/started dishwasher - 10 minutes cleaning foyer - wiped down the worst part of the kitchen floor To do: - wait for customer to come by and pick up order (the part of the house she'll see is "pardon, I've been sick and the kids wreaked havoc" excusable, I think) - start dinner - unload dishwasher
