Got up to the sound of an early alarm, not remembering why I'd set it. Oh, yes, I have to finish my book club book. So that's what I'll be doing this morning. Oh, very sorry, Ally, about your back. I've never had them, but it sounds painful. Rest it well. Started dishes soaking. {read...read...read... Finished! }Washed dishes. Got dressed. Apply for permit (find letter cuz it didn't work online).Make appointment for winter tire swap. Do some mowing.Make zucchini bread.
Rake some more of the front lawn. Do stretches.Pick up area around chair: end table, papers on floor, stuff on sofa near this end. Send sympathy card.
Go to pharmacy.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I've has some mild back twinges before, but never like this. I still didn't feel quite right this afternoon, but felt as if it might be good to take a gentle walk. I felt better after that.
ta-da for this morning: Called into CLA meeting. Made some soup that I had started yesterday alternated simple light tasks with rest. sorted out vitamins
ta-da for this afternoon: Finished making soup Went for short walk After a break, I felt well enough to plant the garlic. It's in a small raised bed, that I had filled with debris, compost, and bagged soil over the past month. No digging required.
to-do: Chicken care tidy up kitchen. I didn't clean up after making soup Food prep for tomorrow's work meals

A better night sleep, so ready for the morning after a hearty breakfast. 1) First up get last night's laundry on the line.✔️ 2) While its morning cool sort through freezer.✔️ 3) Rotate the mattress, air the bedroom.✔️ The weather is holding so I'll set some threes for outside.... 1) set up string to keep straggly raspberries in check✔ 2) weed between blueberry bushes & store the fruit nets away✔ 3) Clear area round sage bush and spread more horse muck on empty beds✔ A few more outside 1✔ detangled half a straw bed of excess runners 2)✔ cut down and harvested the last sweetcorn 3)✔ picked up small bag of rubbish and brought home more woodchip from the allotment As always everything takes more time than I imagine.. Evening now so some quick 3's to go for 1) grate up the first parsnip of the year with wind-fall apples for a salad✔ 😋 2) hang up the clean laundry✔ 3) ...ok bedtime, electric blanket on snuggle up warm. Try to figure out which of the thousand things i could be doing make it onto tomorrow's to-do list

Hi, everyone! seahorse beesnest razy notanotherdecade Ally, i hope your back spasms are releasing, goldenthreads, a walk along a creek with family. How sweet. It's been years since I've had an outing like that. Day 9/91 Sun 10/1 I started the thread Sunday morn, with plans for a full, git-r-done day. Went to worship Vegged out, i got my mattress pad washed, but its still not back on the bed Ate poorly, which bit my butt, man, i showed myself. Day 10/90 Mon 10/2 I had 2 med appts in near bigger town, so BFF & i planned to make a day of it, shopping, eating out. I was so sick. Like a gall bladder or illeocecal valve attack, but no pain, very nauseated Mcdonalds in car before we left town, i got sprite & oj, no food. Walking breathing test, no pulm function, i was surprised, but they said no. Pulmonologist, he was also surprised no pulm function testm ordered one & a hi res lung CT. Pulled blood work after my appt. I made a quick Aldi (discount grocery) list & she shopped, i stayed in car. $90, when i usually stock up $250-300 I felt a bit better, so went in to Hobby Lobby with her. Her daughter died a few days ago & she was on a mission to replicate a particular flower arrangement. No go, she need spring, no sprays to be had. Perused past fabrics, wandered yarn, 30% off. I cant remember ever walking out of hobby lobby with no purchase, but i did. I had recently bought quantities of sew machine needles & thread, and needed nothing, and didn't feel well enough to "want". Fed her-sit down at Wendy's, again ginger ale for me. Quilt store, i bought 8 qtr yards. Then bulk store, she bought a lot, i only got $5 tub of cappuccino. Feeling really bad again, i usually get several things, and i badly need to refresh spices, but tummy overtook brain. Carried my stuff in from car, and laid down for 12 hours straight. Day 11/89 Tues 10/3 Tues, the tests my pulmonologist had ordered were in my town. I worked a few hours around that appt, but not many. Nothing done last night. Had 1/2 apple & coffee breakfast, no lunch. Hungry in evening, toasted a couple of pita with butter. No more digestion events, but still not par. Kitchen isnt a wreck, but things are piled around, intrusively.

Good morning notanotherdecade, I'm glad you got a good night of sleep! mouseanne, I don't know if you know, but I do PFTs for my job! We actually test ourselves weekly to confirm the accuracy of the equipment. My back is better, but I can still feel it when I bend or lift... not bad though. ta-da: Let chickens out. Made and ate a healthy breakfast. Took compostables out Stripped bed, started a load of laundry Loaded the dishwasher and started it... Today is cinnamon roll day in Sweden. I am half Swedish, so I am going to try to make a healthy version of cinnamon rolls, using whole grains and some shredded apple. to-do: Continue with laundry Continue with dishes Declutter somewhere CLA meeting is in about 30 minutes I signed up for the uncluttered course again this fall, and already fell off the wagon, so I'm hoping to spend a little time today catching back up. Pay bill for lab work.
