Whether you do those 3 to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post. Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da! If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you. Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM!

Good morning WITers! I was feeling a bit run down over the past several days, so haven't accomplished much. My DH and I might go visit our daughter later today and I need to prepare for my work week. We had planned to get together last weekend, but both DD and DH were sick. ta-da: Put a few dishes into the dishwasher and Started making a batch of yogurt Started a new thread. to-do: Prepare some meals/snacks for work. Continue with making yogurt Laundry? Get ready to go to visit DD?

I stayed way, way, way too late last night for no good reason and am dragging a bit this morning. I really want to lie around all day, which is what I will probably do, but it would be awesome if I could sneak in a few tasks... Good New Year's morning every one. It's a new slate, taken day by day. And it's a nice day here. done: -up, cats herded, cocoa made -pupa in the kitchen. Things out of place are starting to disturb me -coiled a long extension cord I'm not planning on having a todo list this holiday, no matter how short. (at least for now) I want to get some things done, but in a natural, automatic, relaxing way. Perhaps like a naturally neat person would just do things without thinking about it. Not that I know how they think. I put in a lot of work the past couple months to start 2024 better than 2023, and I'm very pleased I did. But the job is not yet complete.

TA DA 5 minutes upstairs tidying 5 minutes started to clear off bed Replenished kitty food Made a small salad and heated 1/2 slice of leftover pizza for breakfast TO DO 5 minutes - begin to tidy desk Take dirty dish and kitty water bowl downstairs Rinse and fill kitty water bowl, bring back upstairs I'm using my bed as a place to store current papers and I really need to change that habit! I'm hoping that the first step is to make some room on the desk for those papers.

TA DA 5 minutes - started to tidy desk Took dirty dish and kitty water bowl downstairs Decided to squeeze 5 minutes of kitchen and downstairs tidying in Rinsed and filled kitty water bowl Forgot to bring bowl back upstairs! Brought a few misc items upstairs

I was starting to get really hungry, so decided to do the dishes instead of eating earlier than I wanted. No wonder neat people tend to be thin - they stay distracted cleaning house. done: -gathered, sorted and soaked dishes -washed dishes, putting away the mostly dry ones as I went -cleaned up the dishpans, etc when finished. I've been working on using fewer dishes/utensils this past year, and it's been paying off. todo (that didn't last long. ) -maybe laundry -vacuum, cobwebbing

TA DA 5 minutes desk tidying Moved a few piles from bed to desk Went downstairs to get kitty water bowl 5 minutes prepping dishes for washing and tidying downstairs Brought water bowl and a few misc items upstairs Started to feel very drowsy and dozed off for a bit. Still feeling quite tired. TO DO Move one pile from bed to desk Turn on window candles and tree Chop up apple for snack w/pb

Happy 2024! Thanks for starting the thread, Ally. Hello, everyone! I've felt mildly icky and quite apathetic the last few days. I think being careless with what I ate really did me in. Anyway, I have some energy today and am not feeling down on myself so much. I will start with some simple tasks and a few healthy indulgences. Got out of bed upon waking naturally. Had breakfast and coffee. Looked around at the room and decided to do little bits without negative comments to myself. Order two books related to health. Order a knife sharpener. Start dishes soaking. Put away laundry. PUPA 5 minutes. Run air cleaner.

Good afternoon! 1. Put away dry clothes 2. Put all shoes in new-to-me hanging shoe-holders 3. Emptied carryon bag 4. Put carryon into suitcase and put it on the closet shelf 5. Went through piled-up mail from holidays 6. Dried and put away utensils 7. Tracked lunch on weight-loss app 8. Rearranged Christmas tree boxes 9. Start soup.... nope, baking chicken legs 10. Prepped vegetables for salads this week 11. Prepped the cooked chicken 12. Washed all the related dishes, tools, etc. except the greasy pan 13. Took out one trash bag outside 14. Cleaned and wrapped a coffee cup for donationn 15. Located LED candles and remote; boxed for donation 16. Put all dried seeds and roots from store-bought vegetables into envelopes 17. Cleaned the bowls I used for drying 18. Cleaned the solidified fat from baking dish 1. Ho,e-punch new insurance policy papers and put into appropriate binders 2. Work on unearthing dining table 3. Coffee and fudge break!

First day of the year-should bring a fresh attitude to me. ta da Opened doors and windows to freshen the air inside. It was cold. Went for a walk around the lower cul de sac, dogs barked and one doorbell alert told me I was being recorded. Took the pad out of the hall bath.It was too slippery. Will order rug
to do put kitchen garbage in outside bin before it starts to smell. plan a small grocery run for tomorrow. go to Lowes tomorrow. Write down part number for closet door
