mouseanne yes, I have a front loader and it's supposed to prevent the mold that can happen sometimes.

Yup, I've had HE for about 18 yrs. on my 2nd one. first was an LG. Something went out, and "we don't support that model anymore" Um, what? so, next one was, sorry, not going to go look, maybe kenmore? Sear supports ad infinitum. Anyway, I don't run it if I cannot immediately dry the load, or at least store it wet in the dryer. I've never found mold, but a load sours very quickly, even in winter. Neither of mine had Self-Clean. Sounds like a great idea.

Hello mouseanne , @dustyd, goldenthreads , @ally, razy and everyone! <3 It's a beautiful sunny day here, hope your day is beautiful also! Washed the dishes and pots. Washed the dinner table coasters. Cleaned three wooden door frames. Next, so many, but will try to keep myself from overdoing it *while not underdoing it either*

g'morning Nael_C Saturday double washed the quilt I just finished (it was school glue basted) Sunday dried the quilt, as much trouble as it was to quilt, it turned out decent. The issues are visible, but it looks all right empty, fill, run DW

Neither of mine had Self-Clean. Sounds like a great idea. If you have a washer without a self clean or sanitize cycle, just run it empty, with the hottest water it can handle, on a long cycle, with either a cup of chlorine bleach, or a packet/tablet designed to clean the washing machine. When I was at Walmart last week, they had 2 different brands of washing machine cleaning products. I think most manufacturers recommend doing this once a month, but I probably do it closer to once a year.

Hi, goldenthreads & DustyDThanks for the reminder, Ally. I've seen those advertised. Zoom worship Washed, drying feather comforter tossed some things that need shaking out, out past the porch started clearing the laundry room pass-through that has been blocked contemplating stuffed freezer emotional morning, it's 12:13 now ToDo let's see, freezer burnt fish that I hoarded. cook a bit to feed to cats? I haven't eaten anything yet, last night's left over queso, coming up. Shake out the sidewalk pile It's rags & cat towels, like that. I like to wash these things after the feather comforter to help clear up the washer/dryer

ta-da: This morning I did my normal Sunday morning routine since I have been back home, I: 1. Ate lunch and brushed the cat 2. Loaded and started the dishwasher 3. Started a tiny bit of food prep to-do: Prep a few jars of overnight breakfast jars Laundry? Boil some eggs Cook some black beans that have been soaking since yesterday Also: Pick and area and work on cleaning it 10-15 minutes at a time. Hoping to spend a total of one hour in one area. This will be a challenge for me, as I usually get overwhelmed after 10-15 minutes. I feel like I SHOULD be able to do this. One baby step at a time.

I am excited! I discovered there are photos on the camera from a vacation we took in 2014. I don't think I have them saved anywhere else. So this afternoon's project will be to see if I can save them. They don't have software for this camera for newer computers. Even my Windows 7 pc is too new. My best hope is to connect the camera to the monitor on my mac, and just take screen shots. Wish me luck. I'm glad dinner is leftovers because this will take awhile.
See you tonight!

DustyD, Good luck with those photos! In my tidying up over the past few days, I found a few point-and-shoot cameras that are 10-20 years old. I guess they are pretty much worthless now. The technology is obsolete. ta-da: Boiled the eggs, Scrubbed down a section of kitchen countertop, discarding a few items as I went. Swept the kitchen floor. (Having second thoughts about the white tile. It looks nice, but every speck of dirt shows!) Anyway, It will likely be here for years to come. Started a load of laundry to-do: I'm going to take a short break then get back to work Cook the black beans and then figure out what all I'll add to them, (brown rice, onions, carrots, garlic, tomatoes, etc.) Continue with dishes, laundry, and cleaning the kitchen.
