I'm going to take a 20 minute reading break and then eat lunch.
Hopefully after that I'll feel like doing something in the yard.

yeah, monstrous people are the hardest to get rid of. They sue, etc. <shudder>
Thanks for the support, Diane!
so, what is important?
Dishes--not too many Duds--fold the clean sheets on the bed; the laundry train isn't urgently in need of leaving the station Dinner--need to organize the freezer just enough to find what we need, so that the produce in the fridge can be used Da kitty--is demanding food, despite having kibbles, fresh water, tuna water...
need to add Dinero. I have a clear task and the starting info.

Good afternoon oust!
Scholar, you know Da Kitty comes at the head of the list. But I would definitely put Dinero next!
During my reading break I looked out at the neighbor's tree and saw a robin--also too early! So I got my binoculars to look at it, and then also saw a starling.
Okay, I don't really feel like it but I'm going out to the yard. Even with my confusion about the hollow stems, I can cut apart the non-hollow mulberry branches into manageable pieces.

Diane, DD1 and I would hear distress noises for a while after our fur babies passed away. Which of course, distressed us. Since I do believe in a good afterlife (my mind has a hard time wrapping around a bad one) I told DD1 I thought maybe our fur babies were having a slightly hard time leaving us even though we had been holding them when they were euthanized and told them it was ok to go. So we would talk out loud to the babies who were gone and told them they could stay near us until they felt comfortable being in a new place with their puppy and kitty brothers and sisters. Weird but it was soothing for us.
Is there room for me on the Struggle Bus? I have of bad case of the *I-don't-wanna* and *stay-in-bed-under-the-covers*.
I didn't get up today until 3:00 p.m. Trying to kick my butt into action with coke and cookies. Bad choice but better than dragging. Trying to eat healthy while recuperating didn't seem to be giving me any more energy. Maybe once the caffeine and sugar kick in (should be any minute now ) I will get something, anything, done.

I did cut down all the mulberry branches except one, which I will stand up somewhere in the back part of the yard. I took out my battery operated saw but mostly cut them with the lopper, it worked better. They are still in a pile in the middle of the back part of the yard, I'll have to figure out where to put them.
When I came in I got another long call from my shopping friend. Now that she's feeling better she's bored and wants to talk more, which is good, but I have to figure on an hour and a half call every other day, it looks like.
I need to start wrapping up since it's almost time for dinner, and I have to microwave another bag of veggies. The house is in pretty good shape, but I do have some things to put away before bedtime.

glad to hear she is doing so much better!
I can't remember what I did or attempted. Got started on a scrapbook project. I'm at the "I have no idea what I'm doing" stage.
Its not raining, so we are going to pick up dinner and go to my folks. My CPAP has been delivered! Then maybe back on the Struggle Bus. I did find my ballot (Primaries in CA on Tuesday) which I will drop off tomorrow.

Then maybe back on the Struggle Bus
You know, all of us riding this bus need to make sure it makes occasional rest stops! Maybe give ourselves credit for the things we DO accomplish, there are always some. Then we get back on and keep on trying.
I had a leisurely dinner and watched a Hallmark movie, then did some decluttering. I'm pretty tired so hopefully I will sleep well tonight.
Good night all, see you tomorrow in the weekday thread!

danny15 I know what you mean about furbabies. Kitty is still around but not as much as he was when he first passed away. Usually it is just a glimpse of him except for the first night i was using my CPAP and I woke up to see him on the bed looking at me. I took it off and told him it was okay and I was fine. I petted the space where he was and then he eventually faded away and I put the CPAP back on and went back to sleep. I think he was worried about it and that I was sick. The last time I saw Kitty was about a month ago. Tiggy was in the bedroom and I could not find him. I looked under the bed and around and around. Then I saw Kitty standing on the bed looking at me and he jumped off behind (on the far side) of the bed. I looked under the bed where he had walked and jumped off and under the bed right there was Tiggy hanging out (I could see his eyes flash) but I had missed seeing him earlier as he is a dark color and hard to see under bed. So then I got Tiggy. There is plenty of room on the bus. I do think rest stop would be a great idea!
