My bathroom is now squalor-free. I hope I can keep it that way!

I have had a huge push for 0 degree areas this month due to:
1) new carpet throughout the house, Dec 17-19, 1) home appraisal on Dec 20, and 2) hosting extended family for Christmas.
I grossly underestimated the hell of completely clearing out everything (furniture, decor and, of course, massive clutter) in every room that was getting carpeting. I don't know where I got the energy to deal with it all.
Immediately after our family departed on Christmas night, DH and I went into a immense state of exhaustion from which I have not yet recovered.
0 squal areas are still 0 squal except for:
Master bedroom: Christmas wrapping blah blah and gifts not yet given Kitchen: counter that is kind of a desk that is always the catch-all for mail, kitchen stuff, writing implements, placemats, various serving items, etc. bedroom closet: some clothes on the floor (but minimal compared to previously).
I really want to keep up the state of the house in 2017. I need more energy to do so.

My best bet at this game is having all of the laundry clean.

Honestly, I'm not sure what 0 Degrees means? My home passes safety inspections, I can find things, and no one is in any clear and present danger.

Serendipity What a great idea! I can do O degree zones! What a good way to think about it:) This way I can focus on the positive and not the negative. I'm hard on myself. I grew up in a family where perfection was expected and so I learned to see flaws in myself and my own home. It's an awful way to live, think, and sabotage oneself, to live in one's personal misery, quite honestly! It has made me meticulous with detail but hard on myself in so many ways, feeling so frustrated with tasks undone. Thank you for the one zone at a time idea♡
