Thank you for sharing the myspace page with us. I just looked at her picture, what a beautiful woman, she shines from the inside out.
I'll be thinking of you on this tough anniversary.

{{{BDG's children}}} {{{BDG's loving husband}}} {{{BDG's extended family and friends}}}
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful tribute to your Mom with us. She was taken too young. I know that she had health problems which troubled her during her last years, and believe she is in a better place, but I do feel grief that she is no longer with us.
I would have loved to meet her. Healer, mother, activist, adventurer, Foxfire woman ... and now, I find out, St. Anne (the mother of Mary, the grandmother of Jesus).
The first year anniversary of my mother's death was hard. I hope you feel support and caring from those who knew your Mom here.
I liked reading about the memorial service. I told my Mother that I would do "Will the Circle be Unbroken" at her memorial service, and we did. I'll sing it this weekend in your Mom's honor.

Thank you for the link.
In honor of your mother's way of using otherwise wasted minutes to get things done, I started cleaning one shelf or section of my fridge or freezer each morning as the coffee brews.
I have kept this up since May, and haven't had to have a massive clean out of science experiments since.

to BDG's daughter laura, husband, and family:
thank you so much for posting the myspace page on BDG. i just watched 'how to create an angry american' in her honor. next time i vote again i'll be doing it for her. the tributes and eulogies were moving and it shows how much she was loved and how many people she influenced and healed with her life. i look forward to visiting that site and listening to some music she loved and learning more about who she was.
thinking of you with hugs and prayers on this very difficult day.
all my best, creativechaos

I visited Kathy's page this morning. It was so fitting. The site's music, tribures, and eulogies really showed what your mom was, stood for, and believed in. It was BDG...... the Mom, the political activist, the woman, the wife, and the friend. BDG was one of the folks who inspired me when I first found SS. The simplicity of the BDG method, the wisdom and humor of her posts....I will never forget her. Hugs to you and the family. 3g
