Hi puzzle--looks like you got some stuff crossed off, so it helped. I don't think I've had anything I want to do on my list yet, but I've been cranking through stuff pretty well. I hope it works for you. I find that once I work myself up to do whatever I roll, I just sort of float onto other things and get them done spontaneously. Whatever works, right? That's an ambitious list cando. I have dishes to do too-WTG on getting to them. I'm hoping to come back and play after I get my daily work done. But I'll tell you a secret, I've been using the dice game to dupe myself into getting stuff written. I actually had 20 to do today, so I numbered them and used a 20-sided online die. It's just going on 1 o'clock, and I am officially halfway done. I didn't get the work lined up until 9, and I've taken at least a 12 minute break each hour. I run a timer for 48 minutes of work, then 12 to get up and stretch, get some more coffee, hit the potty (and this morning, race a forgotten bag of garbage to the curb before the truck came) and such. Let's compare this to me getting up at 3am this morning to finish work by a 7:30 deadline. I'll be done with the rest in just a few 48-minute sessions this afternoon. Then an hour or less for proofreadnig <----which I'm clearly in need of! and I'm beating my Wednesday 9am deadline by leaps and bounds for the first time in weeks. Loving this stuff.

During my lunch break I mixed up an apple pie and put it in the oven (I must have been hungry when I bought that bag of apples), put all the dishes in to soak, took the doug out to potty, made a phone call I needed to make, got the mail, brought the emptied garbage cans up from the road, made a purchase online that my daughter needs for school, and ate an apple--I just realized I forgot to eat a proper lunch. I anticipate a snack in about an hour. Oh, and I flossed. I think I'll come down with something in a day or two, because today's just too efficient. I also decided what we'd have for supper and put the salmon fillets in a pie pan of water to thaw. Blackened salmon--one of our favorites and so easy and fast in a skillet, broccoli with a little cheese melted on it, and either lettuce salad or cottage cheese. Nothing starchy, because there's pie and I intend to eat a piece. I just have to remember to get some vanilla ice cream while I'm out to pick her up after her play practice and the day will be a pretty darn good one. So I'm off to start working again while I'm waiting for the pie to bake, and on my next break I'll be washing dishes--I'm still hoping to do some dice chores this evening. Off to do dice for work now. Hope everyone's having a good day.

Sounds like you've found methods that are working for you now. That is great, Clutterfree!!!
I spent an hour going thru a purse that had 2 big holes in the bottom of it. Could be I'll never find what I'm looking for as it could be lost forever. *32 paper-type stuff into recycle bag (busn. cards, papers from kennels, papers from training class, etc) *9 assorted trash (pen, gum wrappers, 1 lip balm etc) *5 into shred bag *wrote address info in phone book from a business card so that I could get rid of card *About 8 papers will be filed later tonight... out of time to do that now. *Lots of change put into coin banks--2 are now full so will need to drop those off to their charities. *6 tampons put in cabinet in back bathroom *about 7 pens put in pen/pencil caddy on kitchen counter *lipgloss & lip balm put in cosmetic bag ****Found $49 check that I never cashed from 2008... it was only good for 60 days. Also the paperwork regarding this. It was from Saxophone that I rented for DD and then returned before lease was up. I wonder if they will write me another check... Hmmmm. Put it in Office in a Bag to do another day... hopefully soon & hopefully they will do this. *keys that I have been missing that I need! *Lots of 2008 receipts -- put in that year's tax box *a few receipts from 2007 -- put in that year's tax box
That's all I have time for now on Dice Game. Don't know if I'll be here tomorrow due to ... well, Life.

Clutterfree-- I guess we were posting at the same time. Your dinner sounds delicious! I'd love your recipe for salmon since you said it is easy & done in a skillet. Only if you have time, though... CD

Yeah, we did post at the same time it seems. You got a ton done, even without the dice! I use this recipe for the salmon: allrecipes.com/Recipe/Blackened-Salmon-Fillets/Detail.aspxI buy the frozen salmon fillets that come 4 in a bag right when they're on sale so it's a convenient dish for me as well as a fast one. As long as the pan is good and hot and it sears the fish, and you don't overcook it, it turns out perfect every time. My daughter and I love fish but never cared for salmon because it was always so dry, until I made this. I overcooked it once and it was dry, but otherwise it's a good go-to dish. And very, very healthy--I do use olive oil instead of butter now by just drizzling a little in the pan and it still tastes great. I am looking forward to the leftovers of this and the broccoli for lunch today. I turned down a writing job this morning because it would have paid far too little an hour--that's a breakthrough for me. I used to accept everythign and work myself into exhaustion. I also washed all the dishes last night after supper, and put them all away out of the drainer this morning while waiting on coffee. Usually I stare at them and mumble things instead. I'm going to play today between chunks of work, so I'll probably start in about an hour, before lunch. Short list at first with things I can quickly do on a break.

1. Email John 2. Dust kitchen windowsill 3. Scrub grotty dish drainer tray 4. Deal with one load of laundry, whether wash, dry or fold 5. Straighten living room where the child whipped through this morning 6. Sweep
First roll: 5 That took less than a minute. Next roll: 6. So I'll sweep after I get some work-work done.

I'm going to play today and maybe someone will join me. If not, I'll still get a lot accomplished. Because I have lots of work to do to day, articles and spreadsheest and keywords, oh my!--I'm going to have to short lists and alternate between them so I can make sure to keep working at regularl intervals. It's Friday and I'm wearing down--hopefully this will help. First roll and every other: 1. Format 4/Write 2 2. Format/write 2 3. Format 5/write 2 4. Completely do 3 5. Completely do 5 6. Format/write 3 Second roll and every other: 1. Wash dishes 2. Dust kitchen windowsill 3. Call Halpin 4. Email John 5. Deal with one load of laundry 6. Tidy rack by door & living room First roll: 4.

Hey moonglow, WTG on plowing through those tasks! Yeah, replacing finished items with something new is a good way to do it.
I'm still here, but today's been one interruption and distraction after another. I'm hoping to come jump back in after dinner. Awesome progress on your list!
