"We can't be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better.” ~ C. JoyBell C.
It's the end of June, the end of Purge-a-Thon Month, and i'm not sure where to take the quotes thread from here. If anyone is is contact with Disorganized Dragon, whom i hope is recovering from her most recent health troubles, and could let me know which topic she has for July, i'd appreciate it.
If anyone else has any suggestions for a new topic, bring them on. Even if i just fill in the first few days of the month with generally inspiring quotes, with no underlying theme, we can pick up a theme after that. Amnesty from doing it perfectly, right?

Thank you Mimi for holding down the quote fort! I wanted to help but I was afraid I would post quotes you already posted cause I didn't have time to read all the way back.
I can participate for July though! I'm glad you still want to do it.
How about quotes on self acceptance despite challenges (hoarding and squalor are our challenges). Or resilience or a combo.
Or quotes on minimalism.
Or on changes and habit building (have we done that yet?)
Or acceptance (if it ain't broke don't fix it)
Or on finding an identity through growth (the eat pray love kind of journey we all are on as we dig out of old habits and beliefs and realize our new values and ideals, not sure of a better way to describe it, maybe the title would be: it's the journey not the destination - quotes on growth? )

Swan, Dragon and i settled one thing long ago -- it's okay to repost a quote. There's no way we can keep up, there have been so many! Just go ahead and post what inspires you, and although there may be a topic, it's okay to just post something that inspires you that day.
Self-acceptance, self compassion, self care -- great topics, since we are trying to improve ourselves and our lives.
Now i just need to figure out (or get a suggestion for) a way to put that in a title for the month.
Dragon, if you are reading, remember that when you get back, i will gladly hand the reigns back to you.
"You can be fully satisfied with where you are, understanding that you’re eternally evolving. When you get into that place of feeling appreciation of where you are and of who you are, and appreciation of what you are, and you accept that you are a never-ending, always unfolding Being, then you can stand in that delicate balance of being optimistic about what is to come, without being unhappy about where you stand. Find a way of eagerly anticipating future changes, while at the same time you are in love and satisfied with who, what, where and how you be." ~ Esther and Jerry Hicks
