I have an albino ferret named Rascal. Most of the time, we allow him free roam of the house, and just close doors on the rooms we don't want him in. However, we do have an open floor plan on the 1st floor.. Whenever I sweep anything up (all hardwood flooring) he has to be RIGHT THERE investigating the contents of the dust pan to make sure that nothing of 'his' is being disposed of! And it usually is...his poop! He's part of the reason why my house is 3rd degree squalor in some places, but I have no piles of stuff. Then, when I shoo him away and sweep everything up, he just sits there and looks at me out of the corner of his eye, silently conveying his displeasure at the disruption of his kingdom...Directly afterwards, to further demonstrate his upset, he either poops in the corner or attempts to climb into the trash bag, if I have not yet put it up or behind a closed door. Argh!!! I really, really need to get his ferret pen cleaned out and ready for him..and keep him there! !!

Spitty and Onyxia are notoriously 'helpful'. If I'm making dinner, Ony has to be laying in the middle of the kitchen floor, or peering into the trash can to make sure I threw away the onion peels correctly. If I'm sorting socks, Spitty has to be there picking out which one's next by swatting at it. They both feel the need to be right in the middle of things when I make the bed (And yes, it has resulted in me tucking a cat in under a sheet or blanket before).
But the second I need help with vacuuming, they're both nowhere to be found.
