it a mess now? That is what hubby asked me one day. He had gotten angry at me and cleaned the kitchen to show me what a slob I was. The other day I realized that I am, a well its finished person too, I keep thinking that once I clean a room it should stay that way. Never mind the fact that I am still living in the house and living to a certain extent means making messes, because it just does, but still I often think I just cleaned this place up last week, why is it such a mess? Do some of you guys think that way too? I know my brain knows better, but my mind seems to have a will of its own and will often think the place should stay clean forever, once I have cleaned it.

Oh, gosh yes. I think that is why so many of us hate housework -- you just have to do it all over again.

Oh, gosh yes. I think that is why so many of us hate housework -- you just have to do it all over again. Exactly! I have on several occasions, brought the house to the point where I could have people in (I had new windows installed a few years ago, etc), and I was always amazed how quickly the paper ended up on the floor again. I always wonder why this doesn't happen to other people I know (uh, maybe because they pick it up when they first notice it on the floor, not 4 weeks later??) Also, I always promise myself that once I have it looking ok, I will then maintain, and in addition, thoroughly clean. Well, that part hasn't happened yet. Cleaning pisses me off. Some people get this warm and fuzzy feeling that they are creating a beautiful place for themselves and loved ones.... I get mad as he!! that I have to do it, and I spend the whole time thinking about every injustice that has ever happened to me.

ROFLMHO Yes, I (used to, somewhat better now) do weekly that which should be done daily. monthly twsbd weekly 1/4ly twsbd monthly 1/2 yearly twsbd bi-monthly 1 Yearly twsbd 6mthy (clean oven, sort papers, etc) Tri or bi yearly twsbd yearly (taxes, return really overdue library books, send Xmas cards) And everything else never. So my problem is just this little timing thingy.

yeah, good, I like this -- dreamy like clouds, and they have clipboards. and name tags.
what on earth is rom -- whatever --? I got the humble opinion part - at the end --
My deal with the sunday paper -- I don't buy it anymore -- when it's put out for remaindering -- I take the magazine section. and maybe the book review. once in a while a third section. It does not live at my house. nonono. And I'm not attached -- once the acrostic/xwrd is done it's toast.

I am blessed with a family of 5 people living together. Sometimes I will see dirty dishes or half finished water bottles sitting around, and I will get so furious...who left that there? Fairly often, I soon realize that is was me.
I'm definitely a little on the dreamy/cloudy side inside sometimes...but if I can just tighten things up for a few 15 minute challenges each day, I can be a dreamer in a clear space, which is way more pleasant than buried in stuff!
