Hi Diane. You are just whipping along! That last roll took a long time, plus I did eat lunch & got Puppy ready to go for DH. He took her to work. He went very late to the office as he was working from the house. I am making an old family recipe called, "Krautpretzlah". Don't know how to spell it. And, whatever it was originally called has probably gotten mutated into what we call it these days. My Gramma was such a great cook! We all miss her immensely! Nobody in our family can cook the way she did. Her family was from Hungary. This particular dish is really basically cabbage & noodles. Made with sauteed onions. It is soo yummy! I think that I have it down as close as possible to Gramma's. I wish my Mom was here to try it. I'll have to make it for her the next trip to visit her. So, I finally cleaned out that major section of Office in a Bag. It was overflowing and hard to carry anywhere, but I had been, anyway. It took a long time because of some very important papers & decisions to be made regarding them. But, 'tis finally done!!! 1 thing put in trash 2 coupons put with coupons 1 thing put in Office Supply Closet 9 papers into shred bag 20 papers to be filed 68 papers put in recycle bag Next roll: "12" = Cook, again. Okay. I'm off to make Spinach Casserole. CD

Back. Spinach Casserole is not made yet, but while the spinach is cooking. I figured I could be working on something else. Oh, I also took bp med & drank a glass of water. So, rolled again. "4" - go thru purse. I am searching for something important. So, off I go! CD

Back from my neighbor's, there was a giant (dead) water bug on his kitchen floor--ugh, those things scare me. I didn't even pick it up, I'll do it before he comes back though.
Cabbage, onions and noodles sounds good. I'll be making a crockpot dish as soon as the roll turns up. Good work on the paperwork--what is your office in a bag in--is it a tote bag? It's a good idea to make it portable, I'd always be afraid of losing something though--if I carried it around I'd probably lose stuff. Of course, I don't have a car, that would be easier to keep it intact in a car.
Next roll: 6, return hall and bathroom.

Finished that plus 2 more rolls: address and stamp the letter I wrote yesterday, and return dining room. I also moved the laundry to the dryer.
I know "return" a room sounds weird, I've tried to come up with another word for it but couldn't. It means return the room to at least the level of cleanliness it was at yesterday--because then theoretically, things will never get worse! I tried using the word maintain but that implies that the rooms are at the level that I'd like them to be at, and that's not the case. So, I keep coming back to the word "return". Most of the time this idea works for me, if I'm able to make them better that's fine, but at least I feel like I'm not backsliding if I always return it to what it was yesterday.
Next roll, from secondary list: 6, clean off computer desk and cat table.

Hey, Diane. I'm just checking in. Still not thru (hardly have made a dent) going thru a purse. It has some important college receipts that I need to keep on DD. So, involving a little bookkeeping, too. I did finish making the Spinach Casserole. It is in the oven, now. Yuck! I'm not sure I've ever seen a BIG water bug. Office in a Bag -- is a Flylady thing. It is my portable office. I have stamps, envelopes, small stapler, address book, thank you cards, pens, scotch tape, paper clips, bills, etc. in there. Has a shoulder strap. I do not keep it in my car. But, it is so easy to just take with me, anywhere. I sometimes like to work in a restaurant or a library. When the kids were younger... I took it to pay bills, etc. while we were at places like Chuck E. Cheese. Back to it! CD

Well, I know you live in the south--maybe my giant water bug is your idea of a mini-water bug! A friend of mine visited Florida once and the bugs she was describing were unbelievable--much bigger than the ones here in the midwest!
I washed some dishes on that last roll, even though I forgot to put wash dishes on the list. Now I'm realizing that if I don't start the crockpot thing now it won't be done before bedtime, so I have to get on that.

Okay, my crock pot creation is probably going to have to go until midnight--I put raw carrots and a sweet potato in there. Plus tomatoes, onion, garlic, some beans, and cumin. I have no idea how it will turn out, but it will use up all my odds and ends of veggies. I washed more dishes too.
I have about a half hour until my next walk, I'll do a couple more rolls on my primary list. Next: 10, return kitchen and pantry.

Didn't finish returning the kitchen, got interrupted hanging the clothes up to finish drying and moving the drying dishes to the top of the washer. I also realized that even though I worked in the DR before it's now messed up from the veggie prep so I'll have to put it back on the list. But now I have to call a client about a possible cat care job starting tomorrow, and after that I'll go on my 6:00 dog walk. I'll be back later. Diane

Been working on that little purse this entire time! I do have to stop now & walk DAngelDog & go for a walk by myself, too. It is starting to get dark here. Can't believe that little purse is taking forever! Tossed so far: *2 packs of gum *2 pads *1 bottles of expired tylenol *1 immodium pill Put 13 papers in recycle bag. 10 papers to be shred. Put a lot of 2010 receipts into 2010 Tax Box. Put 2 pens into pen holder. Put lipstick, lip gloss & chapstick in make-up case. Put $13.00 in my current purse! Put $1.95 in change bank to be donated. That's it for me for tonight. Thanks for joining me, CD

Back from my last walk. Before I left I finished the dishes and cleaned the DR table from the veggie chopping.
I'm going to continue for a little while longer, I want to at least get my primary list finished tonight.
Next roll: 6, return LR.

The LR is back to where it was yesterday, which isn't saying much. My main desk really needs some work!
Next roll: 8, balance checkbook and pay a bill.
