in my part of the world it is considered bad manners to wear shoes in the house unless you are getting ready to go somewhere-- we have too many miss adventures with our weather man to be going in and out with the same shoes-- and alas flylady and I do not see eye to eye on many other things- I am a beelady-- - I like to buzz around from thing to thing

Why do I feel I have to comment here? I've had my laughs while reading this one.
Part of Flylady has helped me: Babysteps Use a timer for 15 minutes Write down your routines and just do them Break your house into zones and work on one for a week Have a central place for your emergency info, and spend a few minutes here and there getting it together Plan your meals
I got to the old Squalor Survivors thread from a link on Flylady about hording.
I LOVED my tie shoes until I got neuropathy from chemo.
My pet peeve about Flylady is the emphasis on home schooling moms.
I don't think Flylady works for people with serious hording issues.
What really works for me is the Working in Threes thread. I came across this thread because I was looking for Bluefrog and she posted here in the Flylady thread

Madtiger, you were looking for me <blush>?
I haven't disappeared, I've just been really busy for the last few weeks. I''m still plugging along, though. There's stuff I need to do, but the basics are getting done. With any luck, life will calm down in October, and I'll be able to post more often.
Thanks for looking.

I looked at the Flylady discussion boards for the first time last night and know understand why some of you hate her. Stick to her book and the website Brenda
