HEY, look at all you folks playing the dice game! I'm back from my volunteer work and the only other outside job I have is one potential walk, I don't even know if I will get a call for it. So I will join in after I make a list.

Okay, here's my list:
2 Dishes/Food 3 Books 4 Laundry/Clothing 5 Declutter anything that doesn't belong on the floor in any room 6 Books 7 Dining Room 8 Living Room 9 Dishes/Food 10 Paperwork 11 Books 12 Dining Room
I'm trying to get my DR in order so I can put my air conditioner in on Tuesday. Yesterday and today are close to 90 degrees, but the prior day was really cool so I got the temp in here down into the 60s--so now, even though it's horrible outside, it's only 76 in here. And, we're supposed to get a thunderstorm this evening to cool it off for 2 more days. Then Wednesday starts a string of hot days, so I'm aiming to put it in on Tuesday, which should still be only in the 70s.
Okay, first roll: 3, books. I'm setting my timer for 10 minutes.
Cando--exactly how many half-filled purses do you still have lurking in your closet???

Diane -- Yes, you need the a/c on! I can tell it will be a rough Summer for me. I have already had days that just seemed so hot I could hardly function. As far as purses, I don't know how many... but they are in bags in a stack against my wall in my bedroom. They are not half full, but more than likely full. I use them for a long time and then when I need a new purse due to the old one breaking, tearing, or need of another color... I just get out what I mainly need... credit cards, some money, check book, insurance card, etc. And, I just leave it uncleaned out... used to be on my floor and on my dresser, but a long time ago... I gathered then and at least put them in a couple big bags in a quick pick up with lots of other stuff... So, I am getting them out one at a time. Did Laundry ! put load of laundry in washer folded load of laundry put that load away Next roll: "7" -- which brings me to "Cook". Whew! I'm glad. I need to eat lunch and was going to cook up some spaghetti and make some salad dressing for the family. CD

Looks like I'll have to break down "cook" into lots of baby steps. This could take a while... *tossed a recipe that I don't want to keep even tho DH liked it. He likes lots of things, thankfully. I didn't like this one. * Found my good knife!!! Forgot that I had dropped it before I left town and it somehow went under the refrigerator. So, got a yardstick and swiped it out from underneath. *swept up the dog hair & other debris (crumbs, etc) that came out from under the refrigerator along with my knife. *thoroughly cleaned that dang knife! Still working on the "cook" roll. ***update*** -- cut up 2 onions cut up 4 garlic cloves rinsed bell pepper, but DH is taking it back to the store & getting me another one. This one was bad in the inside. CD

Ugh, ugh, ugh, it is so hot out there! Either it's hotter than the prediction of 90 or I'm just not used to this heat yet. The poor long-haired dog I was walking was not happy either.
Cando, well, good for you for tackling the purse job a little at a time--it sounds huge! I imagine it would be like an archeological dig as you go back in time, finding receipts and such.
Okay, where was I...time for a dice roll, I think: 9, Dishes, food.

That time was taken up mainly with cleaning out the sink and starting the first pan of dishes soaking.
Next roll: 4, Laundry/clothing. Good, I have a load of washing to do and don't want to start it too late.

Sounds delicious so far Cando!
I'm taking an eating break too--on that last dishes roll I grated carrots, chopped up a red bell pepper and some celery, and put it together with some pasta and beans. Added Italian dressing and dried dill, wth some sweetener, and I have a quick pasta salad. I can't get over how beautiful it is, I wish I could take a picture of the orange and red together. I will eat while working.
Next roll: 8, Living Room

I cleaned out and reorganized a magazine holder that I keep next to my computer with some notebooks and instructions that I refer to often. I also remembered that I wanted to take a huge bag of recycling out, if I wait until Monday the bin is usually too full, so that's done.
Next roll: 11, books
