How do I get text to move across the screen in my post?

Using either Preview (the Visual Editor) OR the BBCode Editor, enter the following code:

Once you click on the Create Post button, the above text will be moving on your screen from right to left.

Congratulations!

Question: How can I get the text to go the other way?
Answer: We're sorry but ProBoards doesn't support code to allow moving text to go the other way.

Can I make an image move across the screen in the same way?

Let's give it a try!

Use the same code, but instead of inserting text, insert an image from your Image Hosting Site:

Here's what it looks like in the BBCode Editor view:

NB. 'move' is converted to 'marquee' by the coding software. This is as it should be.

Below is an example from Photobucket (an Image Hosting site) to show how to select the correct link for insertion into the Move command code.

How can I get Smilies into my scrolling text?

Same idea as above. Just use the Smiley icon to select one and try it out:

Start with the same template, except rather than text or an Image link, you will use a Smilie from the menu of Smilies here on the forum.

You may also use Smilies you may have saved on your image hosting site. The method is the same as for inserting an image here.
