when signing in it says i have no messages, so was wondering...is there a way to send private messages? and if yes, how does it work?ahhh, figured it out, i think,  you click on the person you want to contact and up comes the profile and there you see "send message" option.

ramatama, if you click on the user's name (in the box on the left, under the word "Author"), you'll go to that person's profile. And you can send a personal message from there.

I have also discovered that there is a "quick link" to sending a PM. Just above the "Joined" date in a person's block is an icon of a paper in a folder or an envelope. If you click on the icon, you can immediately start writing a PM.

Some members also have an icon of a tiny house. If you click on that icon, it takes you to their website.  |

Those icons are small enough to be almost unidentifiable. It's nice that they're there, but wow, they're not user-friendly.
Missy, most of the other icons are saved by having words next to them: quote, reply, print. Can something similar be done with the author area icons?

i looked around a little, and didn't see any option to explain those. all that info is avalable when you click members from the top too. AH you can poke around and see if you can find an option to put text on/by it somewhere. |
