Oh totally agree. Not going to seek to edit thousands of my old posts. . If the smileys are now out-of-context, or missing, who cares. Sometimes, when I'm researching something, I happen upon one of my old posts. I edit it only if I'm going to bump it up and I see that my links don't work or the formatting is askew. But otherwise, I don't even look at my old posts. Celeste, thanks for all your help and replies

My pleasure, Lion. Thanks for reminding me that I needed to move those emoticons for them to work again in Firefox.

I'm using Chrome. I posted and used a some smilies. But a few minutes later, the smilies didn't work for me. What the heck?

I feel bad for the tech people. Firefox seems to upgrade almost on a weekly basis and that's got to be a bore to keep up with. It's reached the point where a friend who is an IT guy says he won't use it anymore and doesn't really recommend it.

Celeste imho, smilies are fun but they are the coolwhip on top of pie. They are good but not vital. I appreciate all the work you go to for us. But I try to remember that the purpose of the forum is to support and encourage each other. Cute posts make it a lot more fun, but they are not vital to our purpose. Just do the best you can and we will just deal with the rest. Thanks for all you do.

I'm using Chrome. I posted and used a some smilies. But a few minutes later, the smilies didn't work for me. What the heck? Yes, that was probably my fault. I've been creating new emoticons, doing a few smiley facelifts and reorganizing them lately. It is quite possible a broke some of the older emoticons in the process. I'm sorry.

sue5000, are you getting any smilies at all? Just wondering if I made an assumption.
