Not sure if this is the forum for this, but a question came to my mind while thinking about the old message board. I understand that the main pages of SS (but not the forums, blogs or picture galleries) are staying up permanently. With Pigpen resigning, who, if anyone, is responsible for those pages? Will they need paid for or maintained at any time? or will it become another of the seemingly abandoned pages "cluttering" up the WWW? Same question goes for the old Network 54 site... I have a couple of threads bookmarked from there and have wondered how that is possible to have it still in existence?
While searching through the N54 message board, I was marveling how "clunky" it seems now, yet so many of us, me included, were scared and reluctant to move to the current, now retiring, SS board. It really seems like it was a huge improvement- and I`m thinking, this forum has a lot of perks, that when we all get used to it, will possibly be even better. So often, familiar things seem best, even when they might not be, and its just us silly people being scared of any change that make it difficult.

Pigpen intends to maintain those pages. She isn't moving on from the site as a whole, just from the community area.
It'll be interesting to see how things progress there.
