Is there a way to navigate from one forum back to the main forum list without using the back button? I've been looking around trying to figure it out but without success.

On the right hand side, below the quick reply it has a forum jump. hth!!
Some other hints:
To create a new thread: Click on New Thread on the bar at the top right of the message cluster.
To reply to a thread: Click on Reply at the top or bottom of the messages
Message Formatting:
If you want to change all of your text, the easiest way is to highlight all the text at once. Then click on the icon in the bar to change it (for example, font size). If you highlight the text first, it will put the formatting at the beginning and the end of the text, where you need it.
Play around wiht what's there, you can't hurt anything.
And remember, any time you "mess up," just press CTRL and Z at the same time, and it will undo anything you've just done.
