Greg, for the past 1.5 days Chat has been inaccessible. I have even downloaded the latest JAVA version 8, update 66, which appears to have just come out 11/16. Chat is unaccessible while using Windows 7 in both the FireFox, & Internet Explorer browsers. Any ideas?

Just adding unable to access chat on my Mac using OS X 10.6.8 with either Firefox version 42 or Safari Version 5.1.10. In safari I got a "plug in failure" message. In Firefox just a spinning beach ball of death.

I couldn't access in IE and I've always been declining performing the JAVA update til "later" in fear that it would cause me not to be able to get back into chat. Unfortunately I'm not as technically savvy as I used to be .

Since we're on the subject, how are things going with the non-Java chat? We Macs are so looking forward to it. Don't forget us.

My apology for all the time and inconvenience. This was one thing as a support technician that I just didn't have any control over.

I wish I could take the credit for the resolution but I confess that for nearly the past month I've been hiding under a rock with this issue. I just made a reply to about 120 support tickets to inform them that the issue had been resolved. I felt bad not making any replies to them earlier but I personally had nothing good to reply so I just waited it out. If it were something in my control or something that I could have actively given help and support with I would have and do.
