I think I am better off picking a project to work on, rather than adding things to my daily routines. My project this week will be to hand-stitch the edges of a quilt together. Also to dispose of the denim that I cut from old jeans because I thought I would make quilts from the fabric. Which I won't. And I know a place that will use them as filler for rag rugs. I put lots of energy and time into prepping the fabric, and I feel that I SHOULD do something, but it will actually be a relief to be rid of the stuff. I'm still thinking about what I will do about the chino fabric. I may overdye it. Or not.
Anyway this weeks goals: - finish the edges of the quilt - dispose of unwanted fabric

Well, I did a terrible job prepping for therapy. But then my therapist "called in sick" and I was saved! So, same goal this week.

Hello everyone! Thank you for keeping on with goals--I skipped last week entirely when I realized it was Thursday and I hadn't even decided what to do that week.
I'm going to do the clutter pile goal again this week, because it felt great to get rid of some things that had been hanging around forever. I'll try for 20 minutes a day again (total, not 20 minutes on each day) which means 140 minutes for the week. I still have the list of piles to work on that I started a couple of weeks ago so I'll keep at it.

Thanks for reminding me, Diane! Week 05/2016This week's goal is ... ... to exercise six days out of seven. I have been slacking lately. One day is a scheduled recovery day as part of the exercise plan. Well, I sort of did it. Thursday was my scheduled recovery day. On Saturday the weather was really nice, I went out for a walk—and came back with a baaaaaad attack of hayfever. I didn't exercise on that day, but on the other hand had more than 10,000 steps on the pedometer. Week 06/2016This week's goal is ... ... Didn't come up with one so far. Wish me an enlightening dream!

Love your challenge Lucy to label spare keys, one those jobs that makes life easier Good luck deciding flotsam, I'm sure it'll come to you I've kept up with deleting emails, but I'm a bit late as only today cleaned out a kitchen cupboard. This weeks aim is to clear the ironing pile and I have to get to the library.

Ironed about a half of my laundry - all clothes, teatowells and one tablecloth. There is still a whole set of bedsheets and another tablecloth to do.
I have identified more than half of the keys, now I need to label them properly. I have a set of oldfashined keys, which may belong to the attic dooor and then there are 4 rings of ordinry keys which does not seem to belong anywhere. One set looks like an old set to my parents home. And then there is a heap of small keys that I have no idea where those would go. We do not have any small lockbox where they could belong.

Finished the ironing this morning. Labeled the keys last night and identified two tiny ones. I have no idea where the remaining keys could go.

Well, I have a day and a half on this week's challenge. The coffee table and kitchen table are clean and clear and the floors have been swept a couple of times this week. On the schedule is sweep and mop either today or tomorrow. I am getting closer to meeting my weekly goals than ever and I hope to keep it up until these things also become a habit.

Hello! It looks like persistence is paying off for you guys! Me, well, I only did about an hour's worth of clutter pile sorting, instead of the 2 hours and 20 minutes that would make up the whole week. I'm still waiting to hear from my relief dog walker if she can do a walk she wasn't sure about tonight--if it turns out that she can do it, I'll try to make up the additional time this evening. Lucie, I'm surprised you found out what half of the spare keys are--usually containers of keys that people have saved are impossible, because many of the locks have been changed. But, you don't know that, so you're afraid to throw the unidentified keys out, so they're kept from generation to generation "just in case"! Diane

Diane, taht is probably because this house has been in our family since it was built and few locks were changed.
I put together all the papers for the notary last night.

Thanks for reminding me of this thread, lucie . Week 06/2016This week's goal is ... ... Never came up with one. Week 07/2016This week's goal is ... ... to deal with all the mail. Not many letters, but I've been postponing some of them for quite a while now. Diane, when I see your ticker I'm always thinking you want to do 2016 goals
