Done: -lightly cleaned 2 small drawers in kitchen - enough to be able to close them with what belongs there. -more floor work -more spot vacuuming. The cats are confused. Break time. |

Hi Lion, Hope your work is going well and that the Overwhelm lets up soon. Post only went it's helpful. My new cheapo cabinets arrived today. I was able to assemble one of them. Reviews said it would only take an hour....lollollolllloooool. Can we say at least 3? And the directions were clear, and I am good with my hands. I do like it very much. If you don't look too close, it looks like quite a nice piece, and will be useful for my purposes. I also like that it's narrower and taller than the mish-mash of used stuff that is there now, which will make the room look even better. So that's all I've done - which is a lot. I might try to construct another one this evening, if I get a second wind. It shouldn't take near as long. |

Good Saturday morning. I hope this is going to be a good day for everyone.
After breakfast, I'm going to put together a second cabinet. I've already emptied the box and put things in a convenient working area.
How nice to actually have enough space in a room where I can spread stuff out to work!
I want more open spaces!!! Such a concept. I've never really worked to keep them before. Open spaces in the past have merely been places where I could put even more stuff.

I've been working in putting together the second cabinet. It's going much easier this time, but will still take longer than 'they said'. I've got it almost finished, with only one more door to attach and adjust, then move into the dining room. It will be so nice having someplace to put a lot of my kitchen things including extras like papertowels. And easy to find things as well as put them away. It's not easy living in close to gridlock.

Finished the cabinet, moved it to its final location. Then took a 2 hour nap. I had some trouble adjusting the doors, and they are still not perfect, but good enough. The cabinet looks really good next to the other one. When everything is in there, that will reduce visual noise in that room so much. I still have to get rid of lots of stuff however.
If energy permits, I might bring over my neighbors recycling bin tonight so I can fill it tomorrow. I still have another cabinet to put together, but my hand is tired after hard screwing in all those pieces to get everything tight.

Thank You BetsyMarie. I fell off the wagon and I hope with Your short list idea I will get back on track. (Sorry for possible mistakes, but english is not my motherlanguage.) Done: cat food and water clean litterbox to do: a sink full of dishes (piece of cake) sort a lot of paperwork  crush cardboard boxes |
