Unswamping...I just changed the font size on the "font size" button, using Reply not Quick Reply. I had this same large font as I was typing this.
, the smiles are really little now...

dixieamazon i am on an ipad, so i dont have a ctrl key. I did see that somewhere.
mynicehome thats a good idea, i will try that. I dont usually use the reply, i tend to do quick reply, its much easier on the iPad. Font size 4 seems to be a good size not too big but not too small.

I am not familiar with iPads, but you can try putting your thumb and index finger together on the screen and then spread them apart. Good luck.

dixieamazon. Thanks! I have to practice that a bit but it makes the screen zoom in and out, making reading easier.

Thank you all. Even wearing trifocals I often have trouble reading the smaller SooS fonts, and am constantly having to change font sizes back and forth on things I read and do on-line. This info has been very useful for me too.

hollyhock you can change your default font size in your profile. That way every post you type will be in the larger size. It wont help with other posts but its a start.

if you go to your profile, then click on "edit profile". Select the settings tab. Scroll down to where it says preview or bbc code. Select bbc code. A box will appear. Type in the box what is in the screen shot (font size=....) exactly as it appears. Try some different font size here and see which one works best. The code i gave is size 4. If you prefer a different size, change the 4 to the other number. If you click on the attachment it will make it larger (and readable). Use the back button to go back to this thread.
