Tues. March 21, 2017
Posting how and where it "floats my boat", as advised. Not a strict "WIT"er. Today 's notes I sleep too much. Hard to resolve, with or without sleep med Posting in forums too much (it's about importanct topics - but it ain't cleaning) Dress, eat lunch, make bed Set up kindle for tonight's book reading. Get trust taxes for state ready to mail. If there is time, take them to the post office. A little time thinning out files (maybe) Book reading - 5PM - 11? (includes supper with family, long drive, and lots of reading and talking)

QUESTIONS ON BEST WAYS TO POSTI've started my own list in Listzilla (Starting Again...), and I've also started posting here in WIT. I like WIT for daily posting because: * It is shared with others also posting their own steps daily (and there are a lot of users to rub shoulders with) * It can get down to minuscule steps each day * It is broken down at least by months (doesn't go on forever) I think my own list "Starting Again..." is good for separate things: * My own activity (others there just to comment) * Stuff I want to keep for a longer period * Not always at a day by day level My question is mostly about the use of WIT. My posting here so far is containing many non-cleaning items. I make no attempt to really use the 3-at-a-time method. Are there other everybody-shares-daily-diary lists that aren't so oriented to a specific method for listing? Or should I just stay in WIT (I like the number of users there, but don't like looking out of place and not being in the "spirit of WIT")? I do want to use 2 lists. Second question, should I have my own list converted to a blog? THANK YOU! I often start with 3 things and things morph from there. I have no problems with others using this thread how ever it suits them however I would like to maintain the spirit of working in 3s. It has been around for a long time, it is about taking small, bite sized chunks out of big tasks and it works for so many

Second question, should I have my own list converted to a blog? THANK YOU! Do what ever works for you! I work full time and am in school part time, so I often list things like school assignments, taxes, and paying bills, pet and plant care, along with getting some exercise. Use it however you would like. I do ask that in the spirit of WIT that you try to keep your lists short. I know when I was new here, I was often intimidated and felt inadequate when people posted very long lists. I've gotten to the point where long lists don't bother me, but there have been people who have PM'd me about this so please try to avoid long lists. (Sometimes I break up my longer lists into 2, calling them "to-do's:" and "Later:" just to break them up a little." ta-da's: Got up Logged into work email account, phoned into department meeting. Emailed my boss about something he said during the meeting. Meanwhile, I watered the houseplants Cooked myself a breakfast and prepared some tea. to-do: I have some bills to pay, a conference to register for, and 2 cars to renew the registration on I have school assignments to work on, writing some essays about some notable supreme court cases from 1800-1860's (This could take hours) Laundry... Much more

This morning before work TaDa filled week's med boxes folded/put pantyhose & 2 loads Dried liv rm curtains hang on laundry room rod to iron Wash steam load dry half steam load Dusted fan, put corner of liv rm Dusted base of footstool, put behind recliner hanger roundup gather sort laundry moved hanging sewing mending from bedroom door to liv room closet door New zero, go thru, hang a bag of belts on my bedroom door looked thru shoeboxes on dining room table Put a pair of new sports shoes with new sandals- to sell? Marked a triangle die with right angled lines for cutting stripes
So sorry for the long list. it's likely all I will get done today as I am usually too pooped after work. ironically, the "really" long lists threads freak out my head.
However, in the spirit of cooperation and thread peace, if my lists freak out others, anyone welcome to pm me to shorten or exit the thread, I will do so gracefully and externally cheerfully.

Not really in the mood to do anything else now. I will endeavor to ensure clear work-tops and settees when I go to bed, but I think that's it.

Minerva, I'm sorry I know this type of thing can be very unsettling, scary, traumatic. ( I am assuming that you are talking about the news that i just read about.) ta-da's: I spent several hours working on my school assignment. I felt that it was a difficult assignment. We had to read up on 3 assigned supreme court decisions, and then write an essay of dissent on one of them. Since I do not have a strong history background, and know next to nil about the legal system, I felt sort of lost. I just ate a snack... And started the dishwasher to-do: I feel like I need to get outside for a walk. It's chilly out but the sun is shining. Start a load of laundry Pay bills etc, listed earlier.

Weds. March 22, 2017OK, trying to put short lists on top, possibly followed by longer notes or diary "mostly for me" 1st check-in wake, breakfast, again shower and dress, made bed plumber finally came at 2:15, replaced faucet "p-trap" 2nd check-in Walk to post-office with last trust taxes for state (included short walk for the day) Thinned out some bills (found auto-pay charges that went WAY up last month) TODO: nightly routine ---------------------------------------------- Today's Notes (mostly for me): Up very late last night with book reading meeting (didn't finally get to bed until after 1AM). Good talk with SIL. Didn't do much forum today , except too much editing HERE. Think twice about hiring that plumbing firm again. Took two visits (and water shut offs) for what should have been done in one! Their motto is "if it ain't broke, then break it". AT&T Uverse "bundle" just expired so DISCOUNT disappeared. Change internet provider? Start personal taxes tomorrow? So when do I do more than just "barely start" as far as cleaning goes?
