Good morning Pamela!
Dusty, there are so many British shows I've loved, I know I would like this--do you watch it on your computer? I don't know anything about streaming to a tv, and I don't think I could figure it out, either. I don't know if I would want to watch a lot on my computer. I don't have a tablet or anything like that. Are there movies on there too or just tv shows?

hello everyone happy Monday!!!! DONE: * shower * cancelled subscription (LRP) * Soul Coaching homework * banking * livestreamed with bookclub * took a 1 mile walk in park! * ate lunch It's another stay home day. Odd for Monday, but I think it's good. My husband doesn't feel good - he's got vertigo again! He says it's fairly mild this time but of course he's not feeling like going out. Next I will call Mom, work on my crochet project and see one more of the Hallmark DVDs I have.

So, I started cleaning the kitchen. Then the time came around to start dinner, so I went to get the ingredients and realized I somehow left shredded cheddar off the list. So, I went to the store. Because G has shiny object syndrome, what should have been a 10 minute trip turned into about 30-45. I got home and looked at my recipe, and I discovered that the reason shredded cheddar had been left off my list was because I didn't need it for this recipe. *sigh*
Anyway, when I got home, I started dinner and finished cleaning the kitchen. I'm not going to get all my dailies done today.

Well Pamela, the next time you need shredded cheese you'll be all set!
I finally got hold of the pest control sales rep who actually came out to the building last month. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and explained that the reason there were different names is that the company was purchased by another company recently and their customer service department covers different companies--he said once you're a customer you only deal with the local company and it's a lot easier. So now I have to talk to the only other active board member and see what he thinks. We'll probably end up giving them a try because I really don't want to start all over again with having more companies come out. There's no contract, although the first service visit has a set-up fee, so if we try them for a few months and hate them we can always cancel then.

I'm glad you got good answers about the company. It's not as sketchy as it sounded. T's all squared away. Dinner is smelling good: crack chicken (shredded chicken with cream cheese, ranch flavoring, and bacon). The bacon will be added at the end.

Good for you Pamela! Are both your boys in school, or only one of them? I thought you would have more time today with them in school but it sounds like one of them was home for the shopping trip.

G goes to pre-k. He also has a class outside at his future gradeschool on Tuesday afternoons (part of the reason Tuesday is busy). T is in 1st grade. Next year, things will go a little more smoothly, I think. Aside from figuring out how to help two boys with homework at once. I'm so nervous about that.
Almost time to get dinner going. I'm looking forward to these sandwiches. T agreed to try it, as long as I leave the bacon out of his! No guarantee that he'll like it, but I think there's a good chance. It would be so great to be able to add another dish to his willingly-eaten list.

Well -- we ended up going out for a little while -- my husband felt quite a bit better and he had me drive us to the bookstore and to the grocery store -- because he needed some ingredients for some bread he's going to make. I was so happy that he feels better!!! It really helped me to get out too because today's talk with my mother upset me emotionally for some reason. She has struggled with a stomach issue and she won't listen to me about going to the doctor. I may have to go over her head because I think she is having some adjustment (withdrawal) from one of her depression meds .... but it's so hard. Anyway. It gets complicated, I will be talking with my brother too as we are co-guardians. DONE: * fun outing to bookstore -- found a DVD to add to my Hallmark collection! * grocery store * ate salad supper! * took out garbage cart and recycling cart! I'm just so relieved that it appears my husbands' vertigo may not present as bad as last time. It really messed him up for several days last time and I think he really needs to get out more now so that concerned me. We need to do things together before my trip so he will do okay the 2 weeks I am gone.

Dinner was durn good. T changed his mind about trying his sandwich when he saw it. G didn't like it. *sigh* We'll still be making it again. The boys can just eat peanut butter or cottage cheese. We put the dinner dishes into the dishwasher right away. Yay, us!
Next up: Get boys ready for bed Shower Try again with the movie

Chris, I'm glad you went out on an errand you enjoyed. I envy you the bookstore, we don't have any near me and without a car, I haven't been to an actual bookstore in about 5 years! Pamela, sounds like you had a successful day even if T didn't try the sandwich! I came home from my two walks and ate dinner. All day long I have not been able to watch MSNBC, I got an error message each time I tried. Since that and CNN are the main channels I watch, that's a problem! The message kept saying "we're having a problem, try again in a few minutes". So finally I got tired of waiting and decided to try Comcast chat instead of getting on the phone. I tried chat a couple of other times and wasn't thrilled with it, this one was great. They just refreshed my cable box and now my channel is back. And I didn't have to go through all the button pressing and waiting that I do when I use the phone customer service. Clean up dinner stuff Give everyone fresh water Feed parakeets Check locks Diane

Diane, I'm glad you got your cable squared away so quickly. They can be a pain to work with sometimes! As far as the Britbox, yes, I've been watching it on my computer. You don't have to install a special program, it just plays in your browser. A new window opens up, and you can click on a symbol to make it go full screen and get a nice large picture. I only have DSL internet (over the old copper wire phone lines, not cable or FIOS), and it is still playing ok.
Well, I think I've gotten everything done I set out to do, plus I just emailed my mother's accountant. We were going to get an extension on my mom's taxes anyway, but I wanted to let the accountant know why it would be taking us even longer than expected to get my mother's paperwork turned in. And I made a to-do list for tomorrow.
I think I'll turn in early, so good night, all.

The depression is kicking my butt. I'm going through a cycle of irritable outbursts followed by intense guilt and self-recrimination topped off with profound sadness and hopelessness. I'll try to be in tomorrow, but I don't know if I will. Between the decreased mood and how busy Tuesdays are, I may not make it in. We'll see.
My DVD player on my computer has decided to quit working, so I won't be watching a movie. I wasn't really feeling it anyway. I'm just going to go to bed. Goodnight, everyone.
