Is this a bug or a feature? 
Now whenever I get an email notification of a new post in a participated thread, the forum doesn't 'send' me straight to the latest unread post as before, but only to the first post in the thread.
I think I'm seeing this on one other PB at least. Not sure if it can be corrected, or if I have to go report this elsewhere.... 
Anyway thanks for any info you can give.

I've never used the email notification feature. Just wanted to say that from the forum menu itself, if you click on little "new" button on the listing for a thread, you will be taken to your last unread post. Also the "participated" menu will have "new" buttons on each thread. The thing is to click on the little "new" button, and not on the name of the thread. The "new button looks like this  except that it's blue or another color, depending on what color theme you view the forums through. You have to click in the middle of the "new" button, to get to the first post you haven't yet read. If you click outside the button, you will be taken to the first post of page one of the thread. |

You clicked on the "participated" box shows in the upper right corner WITHIN a single thread. I wasn't talking about that. I'm talking about the BOARD layout menu which shows all the threads on a board. The pic below is from the left side of the ListZilla board's menu:  You'll see the "new" button to the left of a thread title ... *ONLY* if new posts have been added to that thread since you last read posts on that thread. |

That's how my email notification has always worked, sends you to the thread, not the newest posts.

Thanks for the screen cap, Lion. I was doing it wrong.
But no, lesaulerouge ... my email notifications always took me straight to the latest unread post in a thread, not the top of the thread itself....previously I did not have to scroll to get there.
ps, tried all possible permutations of 'new.' None worked.
